    What an amazing experience with K&S Heating in Edina! We had K&S out to replace our heater, add an air conditioning unit, and run some new ducts. I was impressed with the whole crew who came out to my house. Started with Eric who organized the install and pricing, Installers (Adam, Cole, and Jamie S2) led by Adam who was personable and had the knowledge to answers all of my questions with great detail. I could tell Adam's experience and knowledge run deep which also provided the comfort level I was looking for. The service was completed in one day and the timing went exactly as I was told it would. Pricing was very fair and product was amazing.

    I will report back in a few months if we experience any problems which I likely do not see happening! We couldn't be happier overall. Having read some scary reviews associated with other HVAC contractors, it was definitely worth going with K&S Heating. The project I feel was done right the first time and on budget.     We appreciate great service & a company that offers a great product with competitive pricing. From the initial consult to the installation they have been professional & up front. Cole the installation provider was great as well as Eric the original contact. I’d recommend them to anyone in the area. Our new furnace is so quiet you don’t even know it’s working!

    Just a note to say a BIG thank you to the K&S workmen who came to our house to install our new furnace. Donny and Jacob were great!! They arrived on time, took off their shoes on our newly refinished oak floors, were very polite and pleasant to talk with and when I came home after work, everything was installed, working and the whole area was neat and clean! They worked hard on getting our 2nd zone wires run into our bedroom and placed the control exactly where we asked them to.

    We love the new furnace! It is so quiet and the evenness of the heat is remarkable. What a difference!

    K&S has the best prices for furnace & A/C, you’ll find that out talking to just a couple other companies. They don’t sell you what you don’t need, they’re honest, some others are not honest (others will try to sell you new when they could repair your AC for a few hundred dollars). They’re real busy so sometimes you have a little wait but that also proves they’re in high demand for good reason.

    Update: just a phone call about an issue & we were given free advise that again has saved us $$. A reminder to change your filters often & use the right ones. Our system is older but working fine so they said they won’t try to sell us something we don’t need right now. So you know we’ll have them replace our system when it’s needed. Just really appreciate the honesty of this business.

    I called them because I heard the WCCO talk radio session the other day where they really shared valuable information, I didn’t ask on the talk show because I was too busy listening to it. Ha! My call was immediately answered & within 2 minutes I was done & changing my filter.

    I often give out this business information to contacts if mine who say they need air conditioning or furnace help. Once yesterday to a friend who wants that ionizer light system for their air ducts that kills bacteria because they are so scared of Covid.

    This was the best spent money on any in-home service I've ever had. Excellent service for furnace and air conditioning check and service. It had been a long time since having a check-up and probably a life saving service as I had a damaged heat exchanger. No hard sell for a new furnace but my furnace had served its life expectancy and I decided to replace the furnace rather than repair the heat exchanger. Mike was the service tech for my Groupon and was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Eric advised me on a new furnace; I wasn't pushed or hurried. My gas and electric company said they like to keep competitive and said I got a good price for a very good furnace. Can't say enough about this company and am sure you won't be disappointed!

    Great furnace install by the techs, but K&S is dropping the ball on customer service at the home office.

    It took nearly two months to get a tech out to hook up our thermostat and then they wanted to charge extra for moving it when that was what the techs said they were gonna do for us in the first place.

    I had to redo my taxes for 2016, and I emailed K&S about how to report the purchase of a furnace installed in 2016 on my 2016 tax form. They really responded quickly with a store-house of information that was very helpful. Their prices are really good and their service is second to none!

    The fan went out on our condencing unit. When I called for service they were able to get a tech out that same day. Chris, the K&S tech, was great! He was very professional, explaning what he was doing and what had gone wrong with our unit. They were diligent about grtting the new part in and getting the new fan installed. I would recommend K & S.

    We are in the process of selling our home. During our inspection the furnace would not kick on so our realtor recommended K&S to look at it. We suspected it was that my husband had not re-installed our thermostat quite right and stated that to the repair person. He took a quick look at the thermostat and told me that it was installed correctly. While looking at our furnace he received a phone call and quickly told me that it was our control board and he needed to take this phone call and look at prices. I was very surprised and my husband and I decided to ask if another technician from the company could come look. When we called that request was denied and we were assured that was the problem by the manager who hadn't been at our home and admitted that he is not a repair person. Regardless, we had them order a control board and set up an appointment to have it installed. When the same service tech came to install it he said that he had a "bad board straight from the factory" several times. He asked to reschedule for a few days later and he would get a new one. We set up a time for Thursday between 10-12. He was always good about calling ahead so on Thursday at 12:15 when I hadn't heard from him I called. I was told he was running behind. At 1:00 I received a call to move our time to 3-4 instead and they would send someone else. The new service tech came at 3:00 and was here for about 40 minutes before determining that they had given him "the wrong board". At this point I was frustrated! Not only had they been here twice and it still wasn't fixed, but I had also (graciously) made myself available for 6 hours for it to be fixed and would yet again have to set aside another day. After he left I called the office. I spoke to Sarah and let her know I was only available on Friday morning and they needed to have someone come out. On Friday morning I had an invoice dated the FIRST DAY they were at our home stating: "Tec found a corroded terminal in old board. Ran through heat & Cooling cycles and checks out fine. New board NOT needed aftercleaning of terminal. No way to know until attempt of new board. No further work or charges needed. CO levels normal and
    operation of cycles confirmed." That was NOT true at all. They had been to my house 3 times and they had ordered 2 boards. So how on earth would that be true? Not to mention I tried to run the furnace and it did not turn on. I called and insisted on talking to a manager. I spoke with Eric and it was a complete joke. He did not care in the least bit. He refused to have someone come out on Friday. He actually told me that I needed to have an electrician come out. Their company DOES electrical work. He also kept bringing up his brother and misdiagnosis that he had with his leg. He kept quiet pretty quickly when I explained that in the medical field it would be ILLEGAL to diagnosis one thing and write a note about doing something completely different. In the end we had another place come out on Friday afternoon within ONE MINUTE he had determined that the wiring in the thermostat wasn't correct and fixed it. Literally 1 appointment and 1 hour he had fixed it. I DO NOT recommend K&S. Their priority is NOT customer service or fixing things correctly. In the end our realtor was also able to get us refunded.
