    I can leave a solid 5-star review because my experience was with about six people the entire way through.

    I scheduled an assessment for the replacement of a whole-house AC and a new basement mini-split. Ryan came out to our house, answered all our questions & was extremely personable. He answered all our questions and gave his recommendation as to where the basement air handler should go so we wouldn't need more than one - We went with that recommendation, and now after the fact it was definitely the right one.

    After Ryan's visit, I received a quote back within two days from a gentleman named Josh - The quote we received was on par with what we would expect and they were booking up a month and a half out. That told me more about their reputation/trustworthiness, so we set something up for the end of July.

    Josh handled all of the aspects of our MassSave loan - even when MassSave became unresponsive to our first application. His response was (quoting): "Don't worry about it - I can send an email to them right now. If they don't respond today, I'll let you know, but that's my job." That gave me a lot of relief. The things that fatigue me the most are the things that are so small and yet so critical to taking care of my family or getting something done & off my plate - Having that help (and ownership!) so I don't have to make a call & sit on hold, or go from agent to agent to get the right person on the phone & fix the problem with the MassSave loan - that goes such a long way for me. And that was the experience every step of the way.

    For every question / update I sent to Josh, I had a response back within 24-48 hours (but it was usually same day). Even after the job was done Josh informed me they would take care of registering the products with the manufacturers so they would be under warranty. Another little headache I didn't have to worry about.

    During the install, Andrew came out with Allen on day 1 and Jake on day 2 & 3. There was another gentleman, but I didn't catch his name. I overheard them during the job, and they all communicated & worked together so well - It was a mix of teamwork & divide & conquer. They were super quick and did everything to set things up so the AC was off for only a very short while (it's been 85-90 degrees each day). Andrew spear-headed the job and went above & beyond: Not only did he answer all my questions & concerns, but he also fixed an issue relating to the fan & the thermostat who my father-in-law (an electrician) hadn't be able to fix despite hours of work.

    This was a big & expensive job for a homeowner - I had a lot of concerns, questions, & little stresses beforehand. BDL sets a *very* high bar for professionalism, teamwork, customer service & communication relative to other companies.

    One other thing is - If there were problems or headaches from the job, I don't know about them. So to BDL: For all of those instances where things may have been more difficult where they shouldn't have been and it involved extra effort or problem-solving (dealing with MassSave, the actual install, or whatever else) - for just handling all of that so I don't even have to know about it - thank you. All the little things that go into a job that no one ever knows about, I really appreciate it. Thank you!

    Side note: Our whole-house & basement AC's are currently turned off because it's freezing in here. It's also 91 degrees out right now. I'd say the units are working (very) well.

    My service technician was Drew. He called before arrival and came on time.
    He listened to my concerns, answered my questions,diagnosed the problem,went to work and fixed/replaced part on a/c. Drew was professional,informative ,efficient and helpful.I would do business again with this company and would highly recommend Drew for a bonus, a raise as recognition for representing the company in a positive manner !

    BDL just replaced my old central air conditioner. The team showed up on time and worked all day in the heat to get us up and running. We had a nice cool sleep last night!

    They also replaced a wall unit a few years ago which does wonders for the downstairs. Highly recommend!!

    Professional is the word that comes to mind when dealing with BDL Heating and Cooling. The emails from Josh start the scenario. but it doesn't end there. This organization is set on making you feel that you are important and that any question is not a dumb one. They will answer any question that you pose in a respectful and understanding way. Josh, Zach and Joe came today to install an energy efficient Amana boiler and air conditioning unit. They were on time and their cleanliness embarrassed me, since the room where they did the installation looked cleaner after they left. It was a pleasure having them here and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of HVAC work.

    I have worked with bdl a free times. The team is responsive and adaptable and parts attention. I first used then 15 years ago, then called them back for another system 2 years later. Here we are and I have a remodel for them. They came, measured, discussed edalternsyoves and recommended a few solutions explaining the good and the bad of each. I would recommend them every day of the week.

Suffice to say...Josh (Biz guy) and Steve Worthington (Installation Mgr) rose to occasion...reasonable rates, timely, communicative...and work passes inspections with flying colors! Workmanship was crisp, clean, organized and thorough...a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend BDL!
