    The guys from BDL are great! They do their best to fix your existing unit and keep it running, but give you realistic expectations if you have an old system. When I finally decided to replace my HVAC I chose BDL because of their consistent professionalism. Throughout the previous 5 years I never felt their charges were excessive or inflated. Furnace repairs are not cheap, but I felt their price was justified for the work they completed. Once when I had no heat BDL made me a priority to get the old system up and running.The technicians were polite, knowledgeable, clean, and punctual. Job well done!

    I had BDL Heating & Cooling repair my AC this summer. Most recently Drew came out & replaced a piece on the condenser. He not only explained what he was doing but he also explained how it worked in the system . He was extremely kind and helpful & it is obvious that he enjoys his profession!     BDL HVAC was recommended for me and I could not have been happier. From the initial call, service from the technician and all around professionalism I was very impressed.
    My 2nd floor forced hot air system was not firing. The access to my attic is too tight for my Dad body. I had asked for a slender technician to be assigned to my job. BDL HVAC sent the proper tech for the job. He was very professional and had the system fully checked and running shortly after.
    I would recommend BDL HVAC and will!!

    Nathan and Angel for starters were always on time, communication was great, and they were very respectful and friendly. My new central air unit looks great as does the furnace. Nathan took the time to go over the units with me and offer tips on how to care for the items. You need not think twice about using BDL for your needs. Thanks guys!!

    Should have left this review sooner but In June 2021 I had BDL replace our 40+ yr old oil boiler for a propane one as well as install a ductless mini-split system for our whole house. Working with them was easy, they honored their quotes, and provided the work on time and on schedule. They were also the best price from 4 quotes I received. All the work took 6 business days in total and I couldn't be more satisfied. God willing I don't have to do any projects this big again at this house but I will be using them for any maintenance that is needed on our system.

    I highly recommend BDL!
    BDL replaced two old air conditioning units and all the ductwork for those units. Their work was outstanding. They are professional, personable, flexible, communicative, and reasonably priced. We had a truly positive experience with BDL.

    Our AC stopped working a few years ago and we added coolant twice but it leaked. BDL and Nathan came out and assessed the problem by running a pressure test. He was able to repair the broken AC unit and got our air conditioner working again! Nathan and his crew were professional, informative, and efficient. I highly recommend BDL for any and all of your HVAC needs!

    Update: they came back in the same week, installed a new thermostat, the tech was on time, he took his time in explaining everything about the thermostat, he set up the app on the phone made sure that was working. He checked to make sure the heat and the AC work and told me about my system and how to get the best useage out of it..... I bought the thermostat from them the one they recommend and now my ac works better than ever no more having to set it too 60 now I'm cool and comfortable at 67.... Extremely happy about the service and I already booked a tune up in October

    Update: definitely a better experience josh called, left a voicemail and emailed me to get the issue fixed. He also took responsibility of the issue and understood how frustrating i was.

    I'm glad the problem was resolved and the professionalism he demonstrated was by far the best I've ever seen. I look forward to working with them.

    Also I was told the service guy was on the phone with the service department to ensure what thermostat I needed and what would work with my unit.

    So far I have to say the customer service was the best I've ever had so I'm updating my review and will update again once everything is fixed.

    Original review: Way over priced!!!! Had them come and check to see what was wrong with my heating system told them it was most likely the thermostat on the phone the came and they they agreed that it was the thermostat but didn't bring any thermostats with them to replace it cost $175 for them just to tell me that was the thermostat and I have no heat... The response well we figured out what was wrong.... My opinion 175.00 for absolutely nothing is ridiculous.... Service guy spent more time on his phone...

    I called BDL about 3 weeks ago on weekends while we are having blizzards and expecting 2 feet of snow. My lower level heater was not working. The furnace was not starting. I left a message with the answering service. I received a call back within 15 minutes. They initially told me to do some tasks over Facetime. It didn't work and he told me that he will get a tech to my house. Then Brian (the owner) called me within another 15 minutes. He could not fix it over the video call. So he stopped by personally in the middle of blizzard to fix my unit. He had to change the starter and he did not have it with him. Brian went back to his shop and found one however not the correct one. He came back to install the temporary starter and came back on Monday to install the permanent starter. I was very thankful for stopping by during blizzard. We are BDL customer since we moved in about 7 years ago. They are always professional, reasonable to me.
