I contacted Muirfield Mechanical the week of Jan 7th, 2019. I was able to set up an appt quickly for that Wednesday Jan 9th, 2019. I meet Jeff, and I felt we hit it off. I was impressed with his knowledge of my questions about the Mass save loans and rebates program. I also had asked him when quoting me a price for the job, if he could give us different costs based on his recommendations on boilers, forced air or baseboards, etc. He said he would send the email of different quotes by the end of the day or no later than Thursday morning. I was anxious to receive these quotes, so my husband and I could get started with our decision of which company we would use to do the job. On Monday Jan 14th, 2019 with still no email, I called The company and Jeff answered the phone . I told him who I was, and was hoping to find out why I had still not received the email. He explained he was out sick Friday, and would get it sent within the next couple of days. Well, today is Jan 21st, 2019 and still no email and no call. Not sure why this happened, and I’m disappointed that the company made a point to come out, and price the job quickly, but never really cared to follow up with me to discuss why I never received a quote.

Update: On Jan 22, 2019, I received an email from Jeff, explaining and apologizing as to why I didn’t hear back from him. I appreciated his honesty, and thought I should update my review to reflect this.

Company sent a tech who was not vaccinated and did not even have the decency to wear a mask. The Delta variant is 1000 times more contagious than the original and even vaccinated people can get very sick from it, though they may not die. No one in New England should have to be exposed in their own home. Sent tech away when we found out. No work done.

Just installed central heating and ac. I highly recommend this company. They did excellent job under harsh condition (over 100 degree in the attic). Service crews are very nice answering all the questions and showing high quality of technical skills.
