We have used Muirfield a few times now and loved each experience. The first was to install three mini-split units in our upstairs in a rush before our baby was born. They were fast and responsive to get these installed quickly. The units worked so well we had them install another unit downstairs for heating and cooling as well as a Kumo cloud system. They are responsive, patient and careful in their work. They also noted issues with our 1st and 2nd floor being on the same zone, they came up with a cost effective solution to split the zones so both floors are comfortable. The office staff is fantastic coordinating rebates, paperwork and billing. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so!

I contacted Muirfield Mechanical after a neighbor referred them and I was impressed with the time they spent with me going over all of my options. They perform the work as scheduled and stuck to their original estimate! The technicians were friendly, knowledgeable & professional! Great Work!!

They installed two mini-splits in our home, and I can't say enough about how good they were.
From Linda to the installers, who even cleaned up after themselves, to the electrician, they were professional, courteous and helpful. I recommend them highly!!!

got Muirfield for replacing the boiler and AC with a heat loan, after checking over 10 quotes, they came up with the best solution at the right price. but the story is not just price, the staff and techs are great at their jobs and keeping you in the loop of what is going on and what is next, and go well beyond to make things just at your taste. the piping of the boiler is so nice I wish it was in my living room. greatly recommended.

I'm in the process of replacing a split system furnace/AC unit. I've reached out to 3 different contractors for quotes, I choose Muirfield because of some positive reviews from my neighbors, well they were the 2nd to arrive of the 3 and my first contractor was very helpful and informative asked me what I wanted and walked through the entire house and spent 45 minutes building a relationship with me, I received there quote the next day, the 3rd contractor was the same spent time finding out what my needs were and again there quote was received the next day, now I'm into the 6th day since Muirfield has come and gone, they spent a very short time here and I never got the sense that their was a concern for my needs basically in and out, but he sounded confident about the job and myself being in construction gave him the benefit of the doubt and awaited for the quote, I'm into the 6th day as I mentioned before and still haven't received anything from them and I've called a couple days ago to see when I would get it so I can make my decision because my AC doesn't work so id want to get started ASAP, with all this said I'm very disappointed in the lack of response and communication. I had high expectations on them, but I'll never know, we feel that we've been kicked to the curb. I can't say anything negative about there work but on there responsiveness and walk through for the quote, I'm not very happy. The gentleman was very nice who came, but that's about all I can say that was positive. Maybe they're just to busy, I don't know.

Contacted Muirfield to upgrade and install two new AC units and air handlers. They talked me into the getting ones with a heat pump and they seemed knowledgeable. I was also told new AC units received $50/ton in state energy rebates, so this made sense. (Quote accepted 15Jun20). We had a 3 ton and 2 ton unit installed. First unit came to me damaged. They installed it anyway and replaced the damaged panel a few days later. After a day of operation the unit they installed leaked and caused water damage in one of our rooms. They repaired the situation and gave me a credit for the damage which I was fine with, but it would have been better to have the install completed right the first time. After several attempts at trying to get second unit installed (was told it would be a 2-3 weeks, that turned into months), I was told the original unit they quoted me was damaged and they could not install it (this is now late August), so they gave me a different vendor. 2 new units and both damaged??? They stated it was more costly to them and didnt charge extra, but now I have mis-matched units that I did not intend on. At this point I should have went somewhere else. Finally, install was completed on the second unit on 16Sep20 (3 months from signed quote). After I paid the invoices and asked if rebates on Mass Save were filed, I was told the units they installed did not qualify as the the $50/ton is for AC units only and since I had upgraded to AC/heat pumps, I didnt qualify. That detail was not clear and when I asked about rebates before they installed the second unit, it would have nice to know this, but I was told "rebates would be the same as the original unit". In the end, I would not use them for any service or future installs. I had a bad experience with quality of work, length of time to complete work, and poor clarity on rebates and I would not recommend them for this type of job. Overall cost of the project was 17.5K and for this price I would have hoped for a better experience and at a minimum have the units come to me intact in a reasonable time frame.

The crew worked together very well and had the installation done in reasonable time (single outdoor unit and four ductless indoor units), done in two days. Very happy with the system and now the house is COOL! Looking forward to how well it performs in the winter.

Muirfield installed a heat pump in our home. They were very professional and knowledgeable throughout the process. The people who did the installation were pleasant and were careful about not damaging anything or creating a mess.

My wife and I cannot speak highly enough about this company!! We found them while going through the Mass Save Program. When we contacted them we already had 3 other companies give estimates. Muirfield Mechanical took the stress off our backs and provide excellent service. Nate always kept me updated as the project when forward and their technicians that installed our furnace are awesome! We would highly recommend this company!!!!!!!
