They were very professional and worked well with our needs. We have an old home and it went seamlessly. They were very neat and tidy. We would highly recommend Muirfield Mechanical Services.

Muirfield Mechanical did an excellent job installing new Central Air system in our home. They were polite, clean, and quick. I would definitely recommend them for any job!

Muirfield did a great job at a reasonable price.
The Tech was thorough and explained the issue in detail
and although I had to order a special part for my Hydroair system,
they got it in and installed it ahead of schedule. I’m 100% happy!

They installed a high efficiency air conditioning system for me and my wife. Did a great job, were clean and completed the AC on time and for the price they quoted, (which is a feat these days).
I recommended them to my neighbor, which I normally don’t so unless I feel confident about someone, and the feedback I got was they were pleased also.

Can't say enough good things about Muirfield! From start to finish very professional and a treat to shoot the breeze with. Learned a lot from these guys during the install of my ductless mini split. Ask for Nate if you need some guidance or have questions, guy is a guru!

Called me 3 hrs before my appointment to cancel. Left a long weekend trip early to be home for these guys to come to my house. Super annoying. If they can't make appointments then I can't trust they can do my install. Opted out to reschedule. I'll call someone else.
I explained my situation to the woman who answered the phone. And she said, " I don't do any of the scheduling, and you'll have to wait until the person who was supposed to come to your house to calls you back."

to answer bellow, you are correct. I never asked to reschedule the appointment. They also cant read reviews correctly.

Muirfield Mechanical installed a boiler in my home in the autumn of 2012. Since then, I have had to call them out multiple times due to problems arising from their shoddy work among them multiple cases when gas leaked out into my basement which the gas company considered such a dangerous situation that they cut the gas off at the street.

I would NOT trust this company if you have a choice in service providers.

A great experience from start to finish. Nate and his team were professional and courteous. Installed 3 indoor ductless units and outdoor heat pump AC compressor unit.
Highly recommended A++

Fixed a complex problem on my Goodman Furnace. They stayed on it until they determined the problem and implement the fix. There is nothing more important than good service when you have issues with an HVAC system where its dependability is critical to your comfort. Nice going Muirfield!

I contacted Muirfiled for a proposal to replace a oil boiler and install A/C based on reviews of their service and what looked like a long history of professionalism. I received a very prompt reply to my web based form submission and worked with their rep to have them come out at 1:30pm on Friday to see the space they would be working in and collect the measurements for the Heat Loss calcs needed to correctly size the HVAC unit.

At around 1pm on friday I received a call from their office canceling the appointment. I was a bit disappointed since i had taken the day off work to be there to meet with them, i explained this to the person on the phone and they scheduled me for an appointment on the 29th for the same time of day, and they said they would contact the tech to see if i could be squeezed in for friday, but i never heard back from them.

On the 29th, the tech showed up about 20mins late, and spent all of 5 mins in my house, the only question asked was what was the total sqft of the house. i was very taken aback, this was the third contractor to come in and the other two spent nearly an hour explaining my options, taking measurement, looking at placement of various part of the install, and generally asking allot of questions to make sure they where getting me what i needed. I had not heard form Muirfield Mechanical, so on May 6th i sent an email requesting the proposal. I received back an email saying they had many of their proposals accepted and that they would not be able to take on my job.

It was obvious by the demeanor of the tech that came to my house that he did not want to be there and didn't seem to want the work, so i assume he already knew that he would not be taking the job, yet he promised me a proposal by the end of the week and did not deliver on that promise.

I responded to the email stating my disappointment and that this was a very negative experience for me and i would be sharing that with my friends and posting on sites i use for looking up customer reviews of companies. I received a response back stating that they where sorry I felt that way and explaining in more depth just how busy they are. I agree, they have allot of work ahead of them.

More puzzling though is an email i received from them 40mins after the one stating the scale of their workload. The last email stated that their lawyer would be contacting me for threatening them... it is not a threat to state that i had a negative experience and that i would be sharing that info... there was no threat explicit nor implied in my email.

I'm glad that their business is doing so well that they can turn away customers. I just think they should have communicated that before wasting two days of my time.
