They did warranty-coverage replacement work on our water heater which started to leak earlier this week.

I hired Thiede to replace our HVAC system for an agreed-on price in the springtime a couple of years ago. In the fall I found we had no heat. I was told we only purchased an AC system even though they removed an HVAC and HVAC was in our contract. After refuting that claim they agreed to come back and look at the system. They had to install an electrical box of some sort and handed us a bill for $703. They never tested the system for heat when installing the new HVAC apparently, which is incompetent in my opinion. I mean, the H in HVAC means heat right? I foolishly paid the bill and then contacted the company to question the charge. They would not discuss it with me. For the next couple of years, I had Thiede take care of the maintenance while the system was under warranty. Then they started charging $380 (the bill included a travel surcharge) for the service that is typically $160. I have never written a negative review before but felt people should be aware.

I have use this company as a service from home warranty company. The company installed a central air condition with faulty leaking tray which resulted my ceiling to get destroyed by the water leaked from attic. Then while they installed the central AC system they mess up my thermostat wiring because person who done the job not electric expert. Now heating is not working because of their unprofessional work manner. After do a recall via home warranty company they never return a call to schedule a service to fix the heating.. Whenever I called it is going to voicemail, I tried calling from a different number and they answered. It is very clear they are avoiding my calls because they don't care about their customers. Even If they answered they said they will get back to me by EOD but never did. This went two months, even home warranty company cannot contact them. If you ever thinking of getting a service please spend little extra and get a reputable company. Because this company is the worst of it kind.

This is by far the best trades company I have ever worked with! Most of the time when I write a check, I am wondering if it was money well spent. With Theide Plumbing, I never ask that question anymore. They can Deliver on what they say. Look no further if you need Pro's. They literally save the day at a great savings! I live on the same street as the owner of this business and they have done work for us in the past. But this March we gave them a deposit to install central AC, and 4 months later after telling thar although they have the AC unit, they’re too busy doing big jobs and now they don’t return our phone calls. We have 2 people working from home in 90 degree weather, one of whom is our 21 year old son, who actually lent us the money for the AC. I see plenty of Nashoba Air and Milltown trucks doing work in our neighborhood, but the guy who lives here just takes our money and strings us along.

We have used Theide Plumping several times for both major and minor projects - installing a dishwasher, hooking up our fridge for water through the door, replacing all the very old copper piping throughout the house with Pex piping, and lastly running new septic pipes through the foundation and tying it into our new septic system. Each and every time they have been incredibly responsive, returning calls the same day. Their quotes have been bang on, their workers professional and easy to deal with - even when working with other contractors who were far from cooperative and polite. They are our go to plumber, and we would recommend then to anyone looking for a company with a wide range of expertise.

I would recommend this company to all family and friends. I called late on Thursday and left a message that we had some issues with our water heater. Dave called back 5 minutes later and after talking gave us a quote for a new water heater. He had the water heater Friday AM and called with an ETA. Chris came right on time and got the job done. The price was as quoted.

Being in the service industry I can be quite critical of poor service. The service we received was by far the best customer service I have experienced in years. Both Dave and Chris were polite, professional, pleasant and even joked with us.

Please give them a call when you are in need of a full service plumbing company that cares about their service as well as their product.

This company came out to service my AC unit as part of a home warranty contract. I was not home at the time of work, my wife was, so I called to follow up on what exactly was fixed. First phone call was not returned. Second time I called, the person was rude and told me "he's not going all the way into the attic to look for an order for one person!" Meanwhile this work was done less than 2 weeks ago. Not only would I not recommend this company, I have lodged an official complaint with my home warranty company to drop this company as a contractor.

I called these people on my friend's recommendation. They did good job with plumbing work and they were able to fix the leakage issue within 30mins. But when I saw bill, it was way way high. I called many other plumbing companies in last few years but this was so expensive.

I called to Dave and registered my compliant, he revisit the bill with plumber and discounted by 105 dollars. But this lost my trust and in future I will be more careful while calling them for any plumbing or heating work.

Theide Plumbing works with my home warranty company. They came out on a Saturday and fixed our issue. They were right on time and worked quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend them.
