The service techs were on time and the installation were very well. Completed in one day. After the installation the tech went over the system and paperwork in a detailed and courteous manner.

Our serviceman Eric, listen to our problem, assessed the possible problem and cleaned up our mess. We will be warm this winter because of his knowledge and professional repair.
We would definitely recommend this company to anyone waking up to a faulty furnace.

We purchased a house that has a new HVAC system from Farnen and Dermer. Within 1 year of us moving in our AC had several massive issues that F & D refused to honor because "we weren't the buyers of the system".
Aside from that we found out that due to their neglect when installing the HVAC they forgot to wrap and insulate it, leading to a leek and water damage.
Avoid at all costs.

Charlie was efficient, polite and quite knowledgeable. He told me what was wrong and provided a cost-effective solution to my problem. I am a return customer and will return again. I need to keep up with the maintenance on the unit, it may have avoided this issue if I had but now I also have extra protection. This company is great to work with and I would recommend them to anyone that needs HVAC work done on their home.

We needed a replacement HVAC system and they arrived on time, covered all flooring, did a neat job, and reviewed the system, operation, and warranty thoroughly. Everything was in perfect order when they finished. We highly recommend this company.

The technician they sent said his name was Glenn. If it actually was, it was pretty much the only thing he didn't lie to me about.
He "inspected" my mother-in-law's system. I told her not to discuss anything with him and to have him call me when he was done.
-He told me the compressor was "shot" and would absolutely have to be replaced. That was a lie because I had a gentleman replace the capacitor on it today, and it's running like brand new.
-He told me "Even if I coyld find the a replacement for your burned compressor, I can't get coolant anymore for this old of a system". Another flat-out lie. It's freon. It is a bit more expensive now, but still available.
-He told me "She will need a completely new system" and then sent me a quote for $12,000.00.
The gentleman that came today had the house cooled completely and mom's "shot" AC system running like a top in less that two hours for under eight hundred dollars!
Imagining my 70 year old mother-in-law, on a fixed income, in a sweltering house, in 90+ degree weather, with this THIEF of a repairman, while trying to figure out how to come up with TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS for a system she didn't need p!sses me off. Shame on him and the company that employs him!
I paid them $95 dollars to find out they were a rip off. Now, you don't have to.

UPDATE: The post below is ANOTHER LIE.
There was NEVER any discussion of a $429.00 repair option with my mother-in-law or with me! Ask yourself, why I would have paid another company just over $700.00, if FARNEN & DERMER had said they could fix it for $429.00, especially when I had already paid them $95 which would have gone toward the repair???
Simple answer: it's a lie. It never happened.
-Glenn told me in no uncertain terms that the compressor was "shot" and would HAVE to be replaced, and that he wouldn't be able to get the "old coolant" so I would have to replace the system. The only option he gave was the $12,000.00 option.

Now ask yourself what reason I would possibly have to lie.

Had a leak from my kitchen faucet.
The company came out the next day and fixed it.

Farnen & Dermer quickly responded to my request to have someone come out and check my heat. They set up a service call the same day. Received a text message that a technician would be out soon the assess the issue. It was determined that I needed a new furnace. The assisted with the purchase and financing for a new unit and a tech came out within the hour with a new unit and installed it on a few hours! Give them a call if you need any service please call them! I have used them a few times now and all I can say is that they are professional, prompt and offer quality service!

The staff is very professional, efficient, cordial, and got the job done. They called this morning and replaced my water heater by early afternoon. It's not the first time we have used Farnen & Dermer, nor the last if needed. Thank you from a very satisfied customer!

Charlie P was my technician and was both professional and enjoyable to work with from start to finish. Very quickly identified the issue with my AC and fixed it (he clearly knows his stuff extremely well), then brought to my attention a shortcoming of my HVAC system that was allowing mold to grow in my ducts as well. He had the parts on site to correct that, and was finished in just over two hours total. Awesome job, looking forward to continuing to work with these folks!
