Priced Right Heating & Cooling

As luck would have it, our furnace went on the fritz just when we ad our first cold snap of the season. We contacted Jim at "Priced Right" heating and cooling for help. He came right out to help and wouldn't you know it the furnace worked just fine but Jim kept after the problem, finding a faulty gas control valve that was only one (1) year old and still under warranty. Jim replaced it and no more problems. By the way, Jim and his team had replaced our A/C unit in the past. We recommend Priced Right and Jim if you have any issues with your H/C systems. Calvin

Over Labor Day weekend my A/C stopped working. After some online searches for a good HVAC company, I Priced Right and and Jim was out at my house within a couple of hours, on a Sunday morning. He diagnosed the problem quickly, but the new part wasn't available until Tuesday.

Jim already had a full schedule on Tuesday, but he offered to come over in the evening to get us back up and running. He came to the house around 7pm and replaced the burnt out motor control unit for our blower motor.

After Jim had the system back up and running he went outside to inspect our A/C condenser. He found that it was in desperate need of a cleaning, but he also discovered that his garden hose had gotten messed up. So around 8pm, after an already full day, without me asking him to do it, Jim went out and picked up a new hose, returned to my house, and cleaned the condenser. He certainly didn't have to do that, and he did not charge extra for the service.

Like others have experienced, Jim did great work at my house and he went above and beyond to ensure that we were in good shape after the repair was made.

We have been using Priced Right for several years and only had great experiences. Jim and his team kept my old equipment functioning serveral years longer than they should have and when it came time to replace them this summer, he presented multiple options, explained the differences and recommended the most cost effective, not the most expensive. He showed up on time and left our house clean when they were done. Would highly recommend.

Jim was incredibility honest and efficient when we needed a new AC unit as quickly as possible. His crew did a great job and had our house cool again in 6 hours. The price was also significantly less than other larger metro companies. Will use again in the future for all of our heating and cooling needs. Can't beat a trustworthy and affordable option like Priced Right.

Fantastic company. High quality work at a great price. I used Priced Right to replace my air conditioning unit. They were significantly lower cost than the larger Johnson County H&C companies. I felt like a valued customer throughout the process. They were quick, efficient, easy to work with, and the quality of the work was great. If you need a new furnace and/or air conditioner, or repairs, don't hesitate to call this company! At a time when other companies said it would be over a week to come work on our A/C, Jim found time to come make the necessary adjustments to keep it running. When our furnace went out during the first frigid weather that we had, Jim and Paul were able to install a new furnace and A/C sooner than other companies, and for less. They are true professionals who can be trusted to be left in your home to get the job done in an expedient manner. They are friendly, helpful, punctual, and do a great job on clean up!

Priced Right was a life saver on Friday. My AC wasn't working correctly on a 100 degree day. I called Jim desperate to get it fixed as soon as possible. He told me he was pretty booked up for the day, but said he would come out anyway. He called me 30 minutes before he would be at my home, which gave me enough time to leave work and get there. He took a look at the AC, figured out the problem in a matter of minutes. He fixed it in no time, and the AC was back on. Jim was extremely professional and kind. He even pet our dog Max who was not the most welcoming to our guest. Jim's prices are right on par and reasonable. Honest and Trustworthy!
Our heater crashed in January. Found Jim from researching several HVAC companies on-line. Left a message and he called back within an hour. Came by next day to explain various models. Hubby was out of town so it was a BIG decision for me. Jim did not try to upsell me and there was no pressure to buy. I chose a mid range unit and it was installed the NEXT day. Jim’s price was lower than estimates I got from competitors. I love that this is a smaller company, super reputable, clean and trustworthy. Jim is on site at all times helping with installation. We love our new system. We will definitely recommend Priced Right Heating and Cooling to friends and family.

I searched on the internet for different quotes. We were looking at a new heating and cooling system. I got a couple quote from competitors and then called Priced Right. When I got there quote, I was skeptical because they were about 30% cheaper. I ended up going with the quote. The work was done quickly and professionally. The price was great and the work was fantastic! I did not expect what I received for the price. We love our new system and I would recommend Priced Right to any family member I have.

1/19/21 Update: This is the best company to do any work on my house in the past 7 years. They always go above and beyond. They’re incredibly honest. I’ve tried to pay them for little extra things they’ve done, and they refused. They don’t try to slip in a $1,500 cleaning or other nonsense. I trust these guys 100%!

I needed an entire new HVAC system about 3 years ago. I got quotes from 3 different contractors. I had a budget I was trying to work with and everyone was trying to up-sell me the cadillac system. Jim worked with me to find the right system for me at the best price. Every rating I found for him was exceptional. I decided to take a chance with him because I was not happy with the last two services I used. I can say it was definitely the right decision to use Priced Right. You can't find more friendly and knowledge people. They always come when they are scheduled and call to give you a heads up when they are 15-30 away.
