Extremely unprofessional technician sent to my home. He became uncontrollably mad at me when he learned that my AC unit that I previously scheduled for repair needed some maintenance instead, and he walked away from me when I tried to explain what was going on accusing me that I misled him on purpose. I could not believe that such a well recognized family business in Carmel (3rd generation) can tolerate workers with such hateful derogatory behavior. I called office the next day trying to get the attention of a business owner, and was assured that Scott will call me to discuss the issue asap. I called the office two more times in the next few days but never heard from Scott. My request to know the name of that disgraceful employee was ignored by office worker. I still remember the first owner of this business. It was a high integrity man, and it was very good business.

Virgil with Appel has serviced our heating and A/C several times. He always calls when he is on his way, is kind and considerate and answers any questions I have. We’ve been very happy with Appel and would recommend them without hesitation.

We had someone come and do regular maintenance. He was thorough and pleasant. We have used Appel for years and have always need happy with the work they do.

Service showed up on time, serviced per our yearly agreement, Tech was courteous and took the necessary COVID precautions with mask and wore booties when he entered the house. Tech spent considerable time taking measurements and fully testing my AC unit. The best news was when he confirmed everything is operating properly. I’m satisfied with the service APPEL provided.

Routine annual AC checkup. The technician was very nice. Called to let me know he was en route and arrived on time. Answered my questions & addressed my concerns. We have worked with Appel for several years and they have always done a fantastic job. I highly recommend Appel!

Always a good experience with Appel! We’ve been customers since 2016 for both routine service and complete systems at two homes. Staff is professional and friendly, willing to explain every step. All work is top notch. We recommend them to family and friends.

We have used Appel before and been very happy. However, we were disappointed in the recent service call. After leaving, we realized breakers had been left off to various parts of the house. When turning them back on we noticed the filter had been removed from the furnace by the repairman and ruined. We had a replacement filter which the repairman found and installed all without telling us. The most disappointing was that we had no notification that the repair was moving forward. Instead, after my husband got off a short business call, we were given a bill for $258 with the work already complete. The issue was simply a bad breaker which my husband has experience replacing. In current financial situation we likely would have decided to pop in a new breaker on our own saving over $100 but weren't given that option. My husband felt obligated to pay since the work was already complete.

Installed heating and air-conditioning last spring. It works fantastic. Came out to adjust the thermostat for the humidifier and did not charge. Excellent organization best hitting an air conditioning company I’ve used in my 40 years of home ownership

Appel is awesome. Have used them over the years - friendly, Responsive, accommodating, and do quality work. Can’t really ask for more!
