We’ve been customers for almost 20 years. They’ve always had professional technicians during our maintenance calls and never tried to upsell. When we have needed repairs or replacements, they’ve recommended quality equipment, provided reasonably priced warranty plans and had competitive pricing. I’ve referred them to family and friends with positive feedback.

Our technician was great. He answered all questions and was very helpful.

Appel installed a new furnace and air conditioner for me recently. I discovered a small problem with the installation, making the filter difficult to change. Jeff Johnson at Appel listened to my concern and promptly sent a technician to fix the issue at no charge to me. Thanks for your prompt assistance, I am very pleased with your service.

the after hours people they company outsources too is unprofessional at best and we had issues with the outsourcing company - HOWEVER, appel was quick to address these concerns and our hvac problems as well, and were extremely polite professional and responsive! Amazing companies are not the ones that make mistakes, but the ones that are quick to acknowledge , address, and correct those mistakes. Will always highley recommend this company and will continue using in the future!

Jim came today and was so efficient in helping us check off three inspection items per the recent sale of our home. He is always so pleasant and explains to me exactly what he has done, and today was no different. I appreciate his work ethic, honesty and integrity. Appel is a better place because of Jim! Appel has been our go to vendor for many years & at 2 different houses. We have a maintenance service contract with them to keep our furnace, a/c & whole house humidifier in check. And, they call us twice a year to schedule the maintenance - no need for us to remember. The office staff are always friendly & kind. We have found the techs to be knowledgeable & best of all honest.

Could not be happier with our service. AC went out on a holiday weekend, we had 3 companies come out and give us estimates. Appel by far gave us the best cost and education on what AC unit we would need an why. I would give more stars if I had the option. Really appreciate the honesty and the way they did not push for a bigger unit just to have a bigger sell. Also, they came out to our house at 7pm on a Saturday night of Holiday weekend! Installation was smooth and easy and the technicians were professional and kept their work areas very clean.

Technician Dan is great! He understands older home installations and challenges (e.g., propane operation, etc). He went through all operations finding a few issues that were addressed with cleaning. He always keeps me informed on condition of furnace and future potential issues.

We called after hours because our AC was making a squeaking noise and a hum. Nate came out at 11:30 pm for diagnostic check. He got it to run silently but suggested we schedule a cleaning of hard to get to part. It was a 2 hour job. This was something beyond the yearly cleaning/ maintenance we always have them do. The office called the next day to schedule the service. Nate came out and performed the cleaning and it’s running smoother than In past. We were very pleased with the professional service we received. Nate did a great job explaining what was needed and was pleasant to deal with.
