We had a new furnace a year ago with a purchased maintenance plan. Jim Hadley, our service technician, timely, knowledgeable and easy to work with. We highly recommend this company in large part due to how pleased we are with the services that Jim has provided.

Beyond disappointed with the service and customer service of Appeal. They installed my hvac 3 years ago and Monday it went out. I was told someone would call to schedule a leak search, didn’t call so I called them. I was placed on a service log to have someone call and schedule an appointment. 5 days later and nothing, if you can’t meet your customers needs, then have the integrity to tell them to seek other options. Now my AC is out of coolant again because of a the leak that could’ve been solved by another company earlier in the week. But instead I put my trust in Appeal and now I have a dead AC and have to pay for the services all over again.

We’ve utilized Appel for as long as we’ve been homeowners. Their service technicians have always been on-time, courteous, respectful and have taken great care of our equipment. Mike performed our annual furnace maintenance and all things were great as usual. Definitely will continue to utilize Appel and their techs in the future.

Appel was recommended by friends and did not disappoint! I only needed annual maintenance, so was able to schedule in reasonable amount of time. The tech, Brian, was on time, called before arrival, was masked while in my home, made friends with the dog, performed all the needed maintenance in about an hour, and was very pleasant throughout. I will happily recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

Called for a last minute service call the day before Christmas Eve, Appel had Dan come out within a couple of hours. Dan was great, and got the furnace back up and running. Very much appreciated, Dan was fantastic and was determined to have out house warm for the holidays. Thanks a ton!

AC stopped working and we called Appel after a recommendation from the in-laws. A technician was able to come out the same day, which was nice. Unfortunately, we found out after he investigated that it would have cost more to repair than to replace (the machine was nearly 20 years old anyway, so it wasn't a surprise).

So instead we have to get a whole new system. Scott Appel himself came out and took measurements, then walked us through the options. What I really appreciated was the lack of pressure. He wasn't pushy at all, and when we said we'd need a couple nights to think it over, he was completely fine with that. Pushy salespeople who try to get me to buy right this second really piss me off, so the sales experience here was appreciated.

We got a couple other quotes and Appel came out ahead just a bit, (plus they then took the original service call price off of the new installation bill, which was nice). They were also okay with us ordering a Nest thermostat separately ourselves, and they took off the cost of the thermostat that is normally included, but still installed the Nest for us.

The entire experience was great. (At least as great as spending thousands on new equipment can be, anyway!) I'd definitely recommend, personally.

Love Appell Heating and Air Conditioning!!! One of the very best and I am so serious when I say that. Everyone is so friendly when I call to schedule service and always recommends when it’s time for follow up service appointments. The techs are so knowledgeable and always on time, I was able to schedule an appointment before work at 9am. Very affordable and always explain what was done so I can easily understand. I strongly recommend this company as I was referred by the previous homeowner and will be a forever customer. :)

They were quick to respond to my call. Brian was super nice. He arrived on time and diagnosed the issue within minutes. He replaced the broken part and restored our heat. My only complaint with Appel was the mark up on the $25 part. I would expect double the cost but not 10 times. I know people pay it because on the coldest day of the year, they want a warm home.
