Appel Heating & Air Conditioning

I've dealt with this company three different times and each time I've come away thinking that they deal with integrity. I literally brought them out to give me a quote on a new system (I thought mine was on its last leg -- and another company agreed with me the day before) and the SALES guy told me I didn't need a new one and showed me what I needed to do to fix it! Been working for years.

Today, I brought them out because my outdoor unit stopped working. The guy took the time to really troubleshoot it, even hanging upside down to verify the compressor was fine, and discovered it was just frayed wiring.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. When I eventually need a new system, I plan to go with Appel.

We recently met with Nate from Appel to help us get a "birdseye" view of our old furnace. Nate was kind enough to drive to our house during a pretty heavy snow and spent time with us explaining his thoughts on whether or not it was time to update, etc... He is friendly, direct and really knows his stuff, and I would recommend him to anybody!!

We have had a HORRENDOUS experience with Appel regarding a Boiler that they installed 1-year ago. We waited for a month for them to "research" what the issue was and order parts (only to have the wrong parts ordered). Ultimately, they would not stand behind their warranty on a Boiler that they installed less than 1 yr ago. Incredibly disappointed with their unresponsiveness and unwillingness to stand behind their work. I work with dozens of companies because of the industry I'm in, Appel will never, ever receive my business or referrals in the future.

We are in Florida, but allowed Appel to enter the premises for our heating Maintenance. We have an on season two year plan and have always used Appel. We have been using Appel for over 15 years and very happy with their service.

HONEST. That's my word for Appel. They didn't try to sell me a new air conditioner. Instead, the technician made a minor repair that solved our problem. I'm so thankful we called Appel for a second opinion, vs. taking the recommendation of the first company that told us we needed an entirely new AC. Moving forward, second opinions won't be needed as Appel will be our first call.
