Appel Heating & Air Conditioning

Needed urgent service during recent cold snap. They were out very quickly and took care of things. We have used them exclusively since 2004. Since 2004 we have purchased both a furnace (2010) and air conditioner (2019) from them. Very pleased with both sales and service they have provided over the years.

I had been using a corporate owned HVAC company and their rates had gone through the roof. Appel's rates are much more reasonable and I like that I'm supporting a small business. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and timely. I'm completely satisfied.

The service technician was prompt and thorough, and clearly explained any issues and/or concerns noted. He was very pleasant and professional, and cleaned up after the service was complete.

Very bad experience the technician he came 4.40 living 7.00 clock only problem after more than two hours thermostat it’s not working that he told me and he told me he have a thermostat old fashion so he told me you can order it for Home Depot so I told him sir right now he’s not working. Can you wait 20 minutes? I will go bring it home depot the thermostat and he told me I’m going done my job I’m saying not fair you don’t done your job and he asked me $300 bill is $104 for entry and $200 for thermostat installation not done anything I do my self insulation. They are very fraud. They tell you our money I’m not happy for the service.

Our AC system was 20 years old and finally bit the dust. I called Appel based on a recommendation from a neighbor. Scott came out that day and did an incredibly thorough load calculation to ensure that the correct size was quoted. He listened to our desires and what we wanted out of a system and what our budgetary concerns were.
He provided a quote while there, and sent formal documentation that evening.
We were able to get an installation two days later. The technicians that showed up were some of the friendliest people that I've met in years. I was completely blown away. They were patient and informative. They took the time to explain everything that they did, the corrections that were made that were outside the scope of their work, but were important for the overall health of the system.
Honestly, the whole team and process was an absolute pleasure to work with. I will definitely be using them again.

I’m very happy with the service. The technician explained what he did. He pointed out that based on the age of the furnace I may need a new furnace in a couple of years. He also discovered my water heater was leaking and helped me schedule to have it replaced.

The Appel Heating repairman got to our house on the coldest day of the year and was very pleasant and informative. He got things taken care of and we were warm throughout the holidays!
