Appel Heating & Air Conditioning

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Appel, and specifically with Seth. His professionalism, knowledge and personality were impeccable. You have gained a lifelong customer through excellent customer service and skill. I almost never write reviews, but I am so happy I decided to choose Appel and hope the next person considering them reads this and makes a great choice, too.

The first time a technician came to service my cooling system, he used my hose for cleaning, did not put the hose back, and did not turn the water off. I discovered a large puddle near the spigot two days later. The same tech tracked dirt on my carpet. I complained to the company saying I did not want that technician back, but he has been the same one for every maintenance call since.

Regular maintenance of AC. Seems odd that maintenance of system occurs at the end of AC season.
I signed up for off season scheduling but am curious if a technician can arrive on this date, why the technician couldn’t perform maintenance on heating system instead of cooling system.
When my contract is over, I will shop around for another company.

I do not have enough positive things to say. Appel was quick to respond to a call and was able to send someone out within two days. Joe came out and was extremely honest about the problem, which happened to be minor (another company had said it would be a full replacement!). We also got a quote for the future replacement and I was shocked at how much better the amount would be compared to other company quotes!

We encountered an issue with the repair which is highly abnormal after using Appel for probably more than 20 years now. Not only were they responsive but made it right regardless of how costly it was to do so. We would recommend Appel to anyone, especially in this day and age when reliability, timeliness and expertise seem to be in short supply.

Jeff in the office was super helpful and explained everything thoroughly. Then Sean came out and went out of his way to get me fixed. A board on my furnace/ac pump was out and unbelievably they had it in stock on a 1997 system. All and All my A/C was back working and I was happy with their team and service. I decided to buy the Maintenance plan because the understanding I received was this place looks out for you're best interest and does not take advantage of their customers. Made me feel tons better. Single female who installed her own thermostat because I was afraid of being taken advantage of a couple months prior to this. So glad I found these guys! Thanks Jeff and Sean and Appel!

Rick was very accommodating answered my questions and coffered suggestions. he closed vent in closet that had been making the closet unnecessarily warm & probablyl taking heat from
rest of thevarea.

Technician arrived timely,clean and friendly. He got down to business right away, finished his inspection, left good notes and was gone in the wink of an eye.

The Appel employees provide exceptional and professional service at a very reasonable price. Earlier this year we had a new furnace installed with excellent results and customer service. We later found out that we also needed a new heat pump and air conditioner for our upper floor, despite the challenges of our pre existing ductwork they had the system running efficiently and quietly. This was all done in a courteous and professional manner while observing social-distancing guidelines. Nate, Rick and the Appel team should be commended for their excellent service. We highly recommend Appel for your HVAC needs without reservation.
