Official Heating & Cooling replaced a AC unit a year ago and did a great job. We felt like they really care and gave us a fair price. Eddie was here last week to inspect the heating unit as well. He was very polite and reminded us to schedule the AC check up as well. This makes sure we have the warranty coverage.

I have had excellent service from Official starting will Bill finding me the right furnace and AC about 7 years ago. The annual maintenance has been great. I was concerned when I heard that Corkey was going to retire, but then I met Eddie. He is wonderful also and helped my select the right sump pump and backup today. Good to know that this great company does this service also.

THANK YOU OFFICIAL! I cannot express how TRULY SATISFIED I was with the installation of my new hot water heater! Wally and Jose were unbelievable, true professionals, the took their time (even though I was the last job of the day) and installed the unit as if it were they're own home, and did not leave until all my questions were answered.
True craftsmen! Hard lined the piping, and PVC pipe for the discharge line, it turned out better than I imagined! Even the clean up was way more thorough than companies I've used in the past.
You have restored my faith in the HVAC business, and I will call you for all my future needs! Mary was great on the phone too!!

I cannot say enough about this company and how they care more about doing what is right, than making money. Official Heating and Cooling truly cares about their customers, going above and beyond to provide the best customer service possible, even at the cost of loosing a job. Our mini split air conditioner system was installed by another company and was under warranty with the manufacture warranty and a labor warranty from the company that installed it. Our air conditioner had a leak that was not properly fixed by the installing company and leaked again during the winter and wouldn’t cool in the Spring when the system was turned on.
The installing company would not return our calls or schedule us for service. Finally, after calling the installing company and asking to speak with the district manager, I received a call from the owner who installed the system and refused to honor their warranty and to come out and fix the air conditioner. We exhausted every means to get our system repaired, even contacting the manufacture in the attempt to get it fixed under the warranty. Finally, I contacted Official Heating and Cooling to service the system after weeks of getting nowhere with the installing company and the manufacture. Official Heating and Cooling came out and recharged the system, performed several leak tests and determined the cause of the leak and scheduled another service appointment to come out and repair the leak properly and discussed with us the cost of the repair.
A week prior to when Official Heating and Cooling was scheduled to come out and repair the leak, I received a call from them and was informed by the office manager Mary that the installing company had called them and wanted to complete the job and honor their warranty and explained that we should give them a chance to fix it and it would also save us a lot of money.
Later the same afternoon, I received a phone call from TEC, the Illinois distribution company who distributes the air conditioner systems to all the HVAC companies in the state from the manufacture. The gentlemen informed me that he had received a call from Official Heating and Cooling about our mini split air conditioner having a leak and wanted to know if the installing company refused to honor their warranty and come out and fix the air conditioner. The TEC service manager, informed me that TEC would be taking care of fixing the leak under the warranty and arranged to personally come out to our home along with the installing company to inspect the system, determine the leak and ensure that it was fixed properly.
I called Mary the office manager at Official Heating and Cooling to thank her and let her know that I found out what they had done to help us resolve this issue with the warranty. Mary explained that she really dislikes seeing people being taken advantage of and it is more important to their company to do what is right than making money. Even at the point of doing what is right, this company amazed me on how much they went above and beyond to help someone who was not even one of their customers. If they are willing to do this for someone, you can be assured that they will take great care of you and your needs. They have gained a customer for any of my future needs and my trust.

We’re super happy with our HVAC system which was installed a couple of months ago. They worked with us to get 0% financing, which was a huge relief, and responded immediately after we discovered a small rattling noise shortly after installation. Eddie is particularly good at solving problems and observing details. He checked our system and recommended cleaning the water pump with vinegar to keep the line clear for the A/C and humidifier. We appreciate his thoroughness and professionalism! A+ in customer service! We’re glad we did our research!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with the installation of our new HVAC earlier this year. I priced out several companies and Official was one of the few that didn't play games with pricing. They gave a fair price with multiple options to choose from. They rearranged their schedule to get my unit installed within a couple days, knowing we were about to hit an intense heat wave. Installation was smooth, professional, and clean. Recently, Eddie came out to do a free QC inspection and was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient in his work. Thanks to everyone at Official for making a potentially stressful, large purchase a positive experience.

We had our annual tune up for the furnance which We think is always a good idea. Plus, you get an idea if there is a problem. We received our call from their office and set the appointment. Nice and convenient. We had technician, Eddie. He is always polite and respectful of our home. He gave us our recommendations for changing out filter and to clear the drain which can back up with gunky water.

Today I scheduled for yearly service call and I ask to check for air flow from my furnace in the same visit which is under warranty, the office told me that the service will be under warranty but the guy came for diagnostic only which was not in my knowledge and they charge me the fee for that. Pls make sure you check the service guy for charges even though the office told you there are none. Totally disappointed.

Feedback after response : Surprised by language used for customer. I was not told about any diagnostic charges. If technician is doing any work which could incur any charges, customer should be aware of that ahead of time.

After doing some market research I decided to buy A/C from Official Heating & Cooling. They did good job in installation and their representative also give me a courtesy call after a week to check if the A/C is working as expected. They have also scheduled a free of charge service call to check the installation and working of A/C. Two days ago company sent Eddie to check the A/C. Eddie is very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions as well checked the working of the A/C according to my satisfaction. Overall good experience this time. I am hoping for the same service in the future.
