The technician provided updates throughout the visit. Carlon provided information on who was arriving and when so that I knew who was coming to my door. They provided an estimate , which was explained to me before they left. Very high level of customer service. The only complaint I might have is they were so positive and seemed so happy to tell me that my air conditioner was toast.

Carlon is great. I will say in this economy and the shortages that we all face you will be doing yourself a great service by shopping around. Carlon has professional people, friendly staff, and a straight-forward pricing model. However, my specific circumstance led me to a competitor. The fact that I went with another competitor does not take away from what Carlon has to offer, it is just what my specific situation needed at the time.

Carlon and their staff are fair and friendly. Although I used a competitor for new equipment install, Carlon will still be on my list in high-demand situations. Now that I laid out my personal experience, here are some areas I think Carlon can improve on based upon my specific situation:

My situation: I called Carlon after my AC failed. They sent a tech out, nice guy, but it felt he may have been a bit inexperienced. No issue with that, I respect when someone says "I don't know, let me find someone who does". Turns out, my compressor gave up the ghost. We were offered some good suggestions for equipment. Initially I agreed. But later got a second opinion from a competitor. I will not go into details on a review, but the competitor fit my situation better.

Granted, I requested the cancel, so I agreed to pay for the diagnostic fees and the permit fees. The staff at Carlon was very professional and the invoice for what services were rendered prior to my cancellation was very fair.

So, as far as lessons learned. Get your 2nd or 3rd opinions before you commit to a specific company.

Carlon has a professional and friendly staff. It just felt they were stretched a bit thin, which I imagine is easy to do in these super hot days. Carlon and crew, if you're reading this I don't regret calling you. You have a great crew, it was just a lot of pressure with my particular circumstance to get AC going again. Your professionalism and friendly staff will always keep you in my list of AC folks if and when I need them. Sorry I had to cancel, but I was in a tough spot.

The tech was excellent did a good job of evaluating and working on the repairs. When difficulties were encountered had adequate resources. He was here late at night so parts weren't available and will be continuing to work tomorrow. Would recommend them highly.
