Francis Basso came to our home to do our yearly maintenance. He not only arrived early but gave me a call to let me know exactly when he would arrive. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I felt as though I could trust him on his recommendations and did not feel like he was “selling” me on unnecessary options. Thank you, Francis!

EDIT- We have now had a horrible experience with Simpson at the supervisor level. Both the service manager and the construction manager are awful.

I wanted to provide feedback regarding David P. He is one of the best HVAC technicians Simpson Air has on staff.

I had a TXV valve die back in early 2021. David P. was the HVAC technician who came out and diagnosed the issue. Thankfully I was able to get the TXV valve replaced with a short turnaround time by another HVAC technician.

The same problem happened in June 2022. The TXV valve died, and David P. was the HVAC technician who came out to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately, I did not have A/C for a few weeks, due to COVID supply chain issues. A little over two weeks later, the part came in and another HVAC technician replaced it. My A/C system worked for about an hour after the HVAC technician fixed it, then it stopped working. I called Simpson Air again and they sent somebody out immediately to diagnose the issue. The new HVAC tech said the new TXV valve was bad and another one needed to be ordered. I was irritated by this response since I had not had A/C in over two weeks, in the middle of July, and this issue was supposed to be fixed. Simpson Air sent out David P. the next morning, on a weekend, to troubleshoot the problem. David P. managed to get the system working as the initial technician who replaced the TXV valve added too much refrigerant and caused the system pressures to hit thresholds that were turning off the compressor as a safety measure. David P. saved the day again, and finally I had working A/C in a very hot July.

I would recommend having the other techs trained better so this issue doesn’t happen again to other customers. On a final closing note, don’t waste your money on Carrier HVAC products unless you like them breaking down all the time and not having working A/C.

I’ve had Simpson Air work on my existing systems since I purchased my house in 2012. When my primary system died late in 2020, I had them come out and install a new system along with new ducts. Just the first night alone was like having a whole new house, all the dead zones and poor airflow problems were finally solved. Leonard was great in explaining the different options that made sense for my old 2 story house, and Daniel and Mike were fantastic during the entire install process. I could not recommend them enough!

Great company. We have had Simpson install and or service three of our homes AC systems plus at our office. They have always been on time and repaired any issue we had. Their service department is not on commission so they don’t try to up sell you on something you don’t need. A+ people.

Update 7/6/2023 - Just had Mike T fix a unit that was struggling to keep up. Great company w great people both in the office and in the field.
