Would be a 5, because almost everyone I dealt with was very knowledgeable about AC units, blower motors, freon freezing, etc... But I went through an entire presentation to exchange my AC Unit when all I originally wanted was a service to check my current one.

The presentation took 50 minutes, and the entire purpose was to try and sell me a new AC unit. I did not want to buy an AC unit, so the customer service person who scheduled the presentation did not listen to my initial request.

After sitting through the presentation and learning a little bit about AC units, the presenter was nice enough to call and let them know the situation. On the other end of the call, the presenter guy was yelled at by whom ever he was speaking to telling him my ac will be too expensive to fix so i may as well buy a buy one, in which he ignored and scheduled my diagnostic service. Much thanks to him.

The diagnostic check cost me a different fee from what i was promised, but i figured out what was needed.

Long story short, I was told i needed a new unit when all i needed was a new blower motor.

I appreciate the reps who came out to assist but did not appreciate their bosses who were pushing a sell. $11k unit was pitched, $3k service cost was quoted to fix blower motor itself. But I found the part and did everything for $250 myself.

7th update - techs are still very friendly and professional. Unfortunately the sales person put 3 ton in a 1740 Sq ft house for 15,000 and it can’t cool any room below 78 between 3:30-10pm )as a nerd trying to figure out issue, have showed them 3rd party thermometer and hygrometers indicating system is failing after 44 days of readings - vents cool at 63 degrees (via infrared thermometer at all 10 vents) when outside temp is 80 degrees or higher (first call was to seal 1/2” gap between box and air handler - never a good sign for expecting quality and enjoyed dust/gas fumes from garage). Still highly recommend them for ONLY REPAIR, the Repair Techs doing warranty work are great -BUT, unfortunately, had them (different ones) out 4 times to address installation issues in first 30 days and 7 months later still having techs )3 more) come out to get the house to cool under 78 on most days. They need to have someone inspect sales installations - we all make mistakes and that’s all they needed to avoid having techs come out after installation. My 8 year old unit they talked me out of costed me 30$ less a month and could cool rooms to 76…..guess that’s why they suggest 1700$ warranty work to back charge manufacturer knowing they will make a killing on service calls!! Top of the line Service. Starting with the manager and sales person offered me a great deal, then the installer Alfredo did a phenomenal job and very fast. I had some leaks on the outside unit 3 days later. They sent a technician out. His name was Elidon who determined that it was just normal condensation but he checked everything even inside the house and the air handle too to make sure everything is perfect. I am shocked the level of professionalism of ARS ‘s workers. Not used to such top of the line service.
Out of 5 stars I’ll give 6 for the service. Very glad we chose them.

Their service man was wonderful. He explained what he was doing as he was doing it. He even went so far as to put one of my chairs outside so I could watch them. In through the house he showed me what I needed to know as far as keeping my system going the right way. I had been recommended to this company and I am so glad I listened to the advice.

Sheldon the Air Tech was amazing! However the overall service is a nightmare. The call center has no idea who’s going where, neither the dispatchers in the location. They fail to update their customers on if the service provider will be late and cost me half my day. Also I don’t know who Evette is at the Tampa location but I would highly recommend putting some of the dispatchers back through training with the way they talk to their customers. Highly unprofessional in how she spoke and communicated. Sadly this review of 1 star would go to the overall service other wise as mentioned 5 stars got to Sheldon. Very professional and made sure to get it right something the dispatchers need to work on!

We are a family of 8. 4 children ages 7 to 11. Out air conditioner stopped working the repair tech was here within an hour he gave us an honest estimate and his honest opinion woth picture for back up and time frames of wait. We took his suggestion and got all information before making a decision and the sales man was here within the hour. After considering both we ended up having a whole new system installed . The sales man was like family. He was here for several hours working with us sweating with us to get everything we needed to get our home back up and running. The team cam the next day to install they were very professional and friendly. In and out clean up all the mess and took the old items. They worked very hard. We offered to feed them but they were hard at work and politely declined. Every person we came into contact with was amazing.

We had our unit serviced and discussed putting in a new unit which we are going to do. Our tech that came to our house
His name was Orjesto .he was easy to talk with and explained everything and kept going over everything till I understood everything.
One of the nicest service men I’ve met.
He fixed our unit so that it will work hopefully until the new one comes.
I highly recommend this company.,
Even the people I spoke with on the phone very courteous and polite.

We called and within two hours they had a technician, Eksimiljon or “X”, looking at our a/c units. He was very friendly and professional. I told X we were young homeowners and he guided me through every step of his inspection. Unfortunately the units weren’t properly serviced in nearly a decade so they needed to be completely replaced. Another tech, Andres sat down with us afterwards and helped us finance the new a/c units. Andres was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything in a very clear manner. The next morning their trucks were at the ready and installed everything before i was home from work! The experience as a whole was amazing and will definitely call them again!
