Our air conditioner pan started started flooding so we called and had a tech come out. They came out two days later (which is fine), did the job and charged us around $500. Well within 2 weeks we had the same issue happen again and it ruined our dry wall. I called, they sent a tech out who confirmed the job was done incorrectly and thankfully fixed the problem. I was told a manager would call me to discuss the drywall repair for our ceiling. Never happened, instead I got a phone call asking for a 5 star review. I explained I hadn’t had a 5 star experience and again was told a manager would call me. I received a call, but was at work and called back asap. I had to leave a message, and again never received a return call. Left a final message the next day and have never heard back. Seemed like they were going to do the right thing, but never followed through.

My most recent experience with Sunrise Heat and Air was excellent. Sunrise performed semiannual maintenance on my Goodman system as part of our service contract. Their technician Zak was exceptional. He is one of the best I have met in my 30+ years of construction management.

I specifically asked for Freon to be put in my A/C unit. The receptionist told me they can do it and will send a tech out tomorrow between 11-2pm. There will also be a $59 service fee for the appointment/service charge. Low and behold the tech comes and confirms from me there is a leak in the system hence the reason for the Freon. So he can't put in the Freon unless the repair is done.

Well don't you think you should tell me that before I decide to have your tech come out? I would have saved the $59 because I can't fix the unit it's expensive. I understand there are laws in place so explain that over the phone. Sir if there is a leak you will have to repair it we can't just fill it up. Oh OK, well I'm broke so I can't do that now. See how easy that was. And it would have saved me $59.

Sunrise Heat & Air installed our Mitsubishi minisplit system. At initial meeting, James informed us of the option of installing a flush-mount ceiling cartridge rather than the more commonly seen wall-mounted units - which seemed to us the better choice for low visibility since it was going to be installed in the living room/ dining room. We felt the extra cost of such a unit and additional installation steps was worth it.
Installers Max and Tevon did an excellent job - along with spvr Chris. They were friendly, courteous, professional and very accommodating. They patiently listened to our concerns, answered all our questions, explaining all the details. It's obvious they work well together as team, have a great work ethic, strive to do a great job - and they obviously took pride in their work and a job very well done. Office staff was always very polite, friendly and kept us informed as to arrival times - for which everyone was very punctual. We were very happy with the choice we made to go with Sunrise Heat and Air.

The following incident occurred from 7/28/2022 -8/11/2022. I started using this business a few years ago and after the first repair I decided to pay for their monthly premium maintenance program. They are supposed to come out twice a year/every six months to maintain the unit. Technicians have had to come out multiple times for repairs during the past two years and after getting nickel and dimed with repairs I ended up paying enough to almost purchase a new unit. My unit was six years old and my evaporator coil in the air handler sweat onto my ceiling in my home causing the ceiling to collapse. The field supervisor came out to assist during the incident and informed us that we were missing parts that should’ve been there to facilitate the handler to work properly. I spoke with this company’s dispatch and with the field supervisor and I was informed that the recent preventive maintenance was supposed to have been conducted in April. The catastrophic failure on my handler occurred in August, so the question that I raise is what was I paying the maintenance fee per month for? Additionally if I would have been informed previously that I was missing parts, I would’ve paid to have them installed or purchased a new unit prior to this occurring. I contacted the office to inquire about why the previous preventive maintenance wasn’t conducted. The response I received was putting it lightly, unresponsive. I contacted the office numerous times asking to speak with someone that can explain to me why The maintenance never happened. The field supervisor I had been dealing with during this said I should’ve set up the maintenance appointment for the scheduling and said it was the fault of myself as the customer. This is not how the service was sold to us, it was sold as “we’ll take care of everything/peace of mind.” We would not have purchased this if we would’ve known that it was such a waste of money. I continued to call the office and the “dispatch/reception” told me that a supervisor would contact me to clear up the frustration and misunderstanding. This didn’t happen and after calling again I was informed that the matter would be taken up with the owner. I still have yet to speak with anyone that can make a decision. On 8/11/2022, I received a call from the field supervisor who I had been dealing with and he said that the company was going to help me out with the ceiling I needed to repair, after being told that wonderful news he then asked me so are you wanting to go with a new A/C unit that I provided you a quote for on 7/28? I asked him if me getting help fixing the ceiling hinged on my decision on the A/C unit he informed me that “yes the company wasn’t going to just pay for the ceiling because it was my responsibility to have scheduled the maintenance.” The monthly maintenance fee that we have been paying is flat out theft, you still have to pay to have them come out. Customer service is horrible, and there is no integrity.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Max’s team. From their arrival to completion, Max, Jamiek, Calvin, Leo, and I think one other, worked diligently to complete my AC installation. Max kept me informed at every step. It was a pleasure having such knowledgeable, friendly and courteous installers at my home.
I was also pleased with the service I received from Bruce, he was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. James was also friendly and knowledgeable and explained everything I needed to get the results that I wanted.
I will definitely recommend Sunrise, and use them for any future service.
