Johan was great! Knowledgeable and understanding of our issue. He was upset he couldn’t fix it the first time out but for what he needed to fix our AC he couldn’t get it until the shop reopened due to it being so late. Hopefully I don’t have to call them again but if I do I know they will fix my issues. We had to have the fan motor and module replaced.

Johan did an excellent job on our 2 A/C units. He called before he arrived to let us know he was coming. Johan didn’t mind our sometimes intrusive dogs looking in on him while he worked. He was courteous, clean, and knowledgeable about what he does.

So far it was just an estimate. Jackie came out super fast great friendly guy. He explained everything A to Z. Said he could be out tomorrow to install a complete unit. Very happy with the service today from the phone call to the office to the tech Jackie who came out.

One Hour Bros, recently came out to our house to service our 25yr old system. It was making a loud noise at the compressor. The tech explained that it would actually be more cost efficient if we financed a new system. They came out the next day and installed a new ac system for us. They did a great job! They worked very clean and were very knowledgeable about their work, they took the time and measured the size and pressure of our ducts; and gave us the right sized system for our house. I was very impressed whith their work when they were done! And in the end , it ended up costing less than $90/month!

I do not typically leave negative reviews, but PLEASE take your business elsewhere. This company is a complete scam.

Our AC unit went out on Thursday 4/23. Called One Hour Bro’s because they were the first company that came back on a google search as operating 24/7 and I had heard their radio ads (first mistake).

The tech, Johan, came out same day. Johan was courteous and respectful. However, took maybe 5 minutes to diagnose the compressor was bad. When asked how he determined that Johan replied, “I just know.” Not what a customer wants to hear when you are diagnosing an over $3,000 repair (their quote)

The repairs Johan quoted were over $1,500 higher than other companies. None the less, our unit was 11 years old so we opted to quote a new unit.

They arranged for a tech to come out the very next morning. This is where everything went terribly wrong. After two hours of measuring windows, returns and vents but not taking into account around 3,100 square footage and 12 foot ceilings...the tech indicated we required a 3.5 ton unit. I advised this was not correct and we desired to stay with a 5 ton unit.

The tech then guided me through a very complicated hour long sales pitch that is very clearly intended to be confusing and misleading. All of the AC units were broken down into categories such as “value”, “deluxe”, “optimum”. When I asked what brands each category represented the tech indicated they only carry their own brand, meaning “One Hour Bros” AC units. I’ve truly never heard of such a thing.

We were then quoted nearly $15,000 to ONLY replace our AC unit and air handler. I was pretty much done that point. I advised now that we had more information I would like to consult with my wife and consider other options.

The tech, desperately trying to save the sale at this point, employed very aggressive and disrespectful sales tactics. At one point he asked if the “custom” AC unit we discussed is what I wanted and then replied, “Well I know if I really wanted something, MY wife wouldn’t tell me no...is your wife going to tell you no?” Real professional sales tactics. I truly hope One Hour Bro’s does not train their employees this way.

This went on for a while where I had to explain to the tech several more times that we were not making an on the spot decision before he would finally leave. He would not even let me have a copy of the quote (giant red flag in itself).

We ended up going with a different local company and purchased a reputable brand with proven liability (not a “One Hour Bro’s” unit I’ve never heard of) over $10,000 less than quoted by One Hour Bro’s.

Please call literally anyone else. This company is deceptive, disrespectful and a total rip-off.

Had a complete new system installed in November. I'thought I was going crazy because I kept hearing a whistle. I had them come out and inspect 2 times and the system didn't make a peep. Nothing! I heard it after they left and before they came though. Every time I called and told them about it they sent someone out to look it over. No charge, no questions. They came to help me not feel crazy. FINALLY we got the system on a good day and the technician heard it. He immediately knew what was needed and was able to fix it. This system is amazing and the employees have all be some nice and helpful.

Brandon was very personable and professional in all his work. Nice to chat with while working as well. Told it like it was and showed what was needed and didn’t not try to sell a bag of wet leaves. Will use them again!

The technician came out and cleaned the clogged drain line and tested the capacitor (44/5) and declared the pressures good (298/134) with a 13 degree superheat.

HOWEVER, when calling to arrange after hours service on 10/31/20, I was told that when I speak to the technician if the do the recommended service, the diagnostic fee ($99) would be not be charged. Meaning instead of the bill being $288 (drain line $189 + diagnostic $99) the bill should only be $189 - NOT $288.

I believe the 10/31/20 conversation was recorded so I'm asking for mgmt. to listen to what I was told and let me listen if the claim what I'm saying isn't accurate. Getting a strong impression of BAIT & SWITCH. And to add salt to the wound, I used this company to install a new HVAC there 3 years ago. I expected much better.

Just got a diagnostic, so nothing major. But Greg was professional and told me what all was wrong with my system. He scheduled a person to come tomorrow to give me some options on my aging system. Will give another review after the next visit, especially if there are any installs. Seems professional, on time, and courteous though. I look forward to working more with them.
