One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating of Jacksonville

Got woken up at 4am to the smell of burning electronics. It was our AC melting. Called One Hour Bros. around 7:30ish hoping they'd be able to come out the same day. They had an appointment and sent Greg. Super professional, very pleasant, and got everything done that afternoon. Had all the spare parts in his van. I'm starting to feel cooler already. Would recommend.

Apparently they don't provide commercial work.

Short version of a very long story. Last Friday a new unit was installed in my house. Within one hour it was leaking, the next morning the fan became ridiculously loud, later that day the fan developed a chirping sound, by Sunday the unit lost power. After providing ample opportunities to make things right over the next four days, I have reached a point I want to return the unit. I have called a half dozen times and always get a call center and my requests for a call back are never returned. I finally got someone on the phone and told them I simply want to return the unit as I am unhappy with the install, unit performance, and their customer service. Company now refuses to come take the unit out and I am having to seek legal counsel to resolve this issue. I would take your business elsewhere. All of their contact numbers are to a call center and you can never get a hold of someone with the authority to do anything. Just referred to the next person at the call center that will pawn it off on someone else. Cost $6900 broke upon install.

The rep that cam to our house can in and was very professional. He made sure to check every possible thing he could with out system even gave an honest suggestion to check out the evap due to his previous experience and ended up finding a leak. they were open over the weekend, they charged an additional fee but that's to be expected with everything coming in on weekends. I would use this service again.

Service tech Brandon arrived earlier then expected and when your air is not working that’s a great thing! Was very knowledgeable and helpful and personable. Was able to pin point the problem right away and get my air conditioner back running in no time. He was willing to go the extra mile to answer all my questions I had.
Would recommend him again.

A 2019 story with a 2010 twist... This is about my home.

HIGHLIGHT REEL for the job - Practical common sense, efficient, polite, professional and more than fair. Individually as a business owner, I would hire any or all of them. Excellent representation of the company.

Great mature guy... would LOVE to hire him in the future. There was one more Young Lady that I initially spoke with but I did not get her name...

In 2010, I had One Hour AC rip out my old AC venting and replace it with insulated vents and ducting. I thought they did a great job, my electric bill came down. As it turns out a mistake was made.

I want to tell you, I was apprehensive about calling One Hour AC, the issue I was complaining about was from 2010.

I called One Hour AC and found out that the company had changed hands to new owners (Hence the One Hour Bros AC name)... They sent a tech out to service my package unit. While here they inspected the discovered error and said it needed to be repaired... They TOLD ME, that THEY made a mistake. Honesty in business today, amazing...

The whole time I am asking myself and waiting for an anticipated UPSELL. It did not happen.

Enter Joshua Green area manager, he comes out inspects the 9 year old job, after a discussion with his installer and then me he said they were going to make it right.

I dont really understand all that transpired, but a company that finds out a mistake was made 9 years ago and corrects it. Maybe I could have sued them to make them fix it. I did not need to... I'll say it again... Practical common sense, efficient, polite, professional and FAIR...

They will get my business in the future as well and I will share their name with all my friends...

Johan didn’t mind waiting 10 minutes while I was headed back to my house, the time he took to evaluate what was going on was thorough and professional. He cleaned off my very dirty filter, took time to ensure nothing more was going on with my unit besides a dirty filter, cleared a clogged drain, and was extremely helpful with explaining how to keep my unit functioning.

Greg, was outstanding. A true professional, he has a great work ethic and made me feel that he truly cared about the work he was performing. I would recommend your company to all my friends. Don't lose him, he is a great company asset.

Absolutely horrible. They did not even do the annual service. Charged us for the Annual Check up and Rejuvenation and then said our perfectly working units BOTH needed to be replaced for $16,000.00 !!! Minimally an immediate repair was needed to the tune of $2406.30! He recommended i do the repairs immediately and then replace in 6 months when we started to have issues -- which by the way we were not having --- this was our annual heating unit check up! New to the area I called the company from the local radio ads. They also tried to jack the price to $129 per unit but I pointed out that was false advertising since both the website and the radio state $99.00 per unit. Had 2 different companies come out... no issues, no leaks, no low freon... just 2 units that worked perfectly. RUN AWAY. Beaches Air is cheaper and honest. They were one of our second estimates.
