Nelson and Sage were excellent, honest and hardworking. We had a tricky problem and they resolved it with the most professional result. I trust them! They didn't try to upsell me and only recommended what was really needed. They took the time to find the right resolution. I will definitely call on them again.

Hi I had solvit come out and give me an estimate for a new heat pump the person who came out said my system should not just have a heat pump even though every other company I had come out said differ. I was okay with their thought process and told him I would check out an estimate for what he wanted to quote me on. He said I would get a quote in 30 min and to this date, I have never gotten an estimate. Highly highly disappointed do not recommend this company one bit.

I had requested to schedule a quote to replace my water heater. The scheduler got me all plugged into the system, set me up for a date and confirmed with me that I would need to "pay a fee to have someone come out to do the work". I was confused why they would charge for a quote if I wasn't actually having any work done, so I asked her to confirm that no fee is necessary to send someone out to do a free quote. The representative confirmed I was right, only for the work done.

The sales person came out and made a recommendation that contradicted all of the other quotes we received then asked me to pay a $114 fee for his visit. I told him that I was told that there was no fee for the quote, only if work is to be done. He said he would get in trouble if he didn't collect the fee, so I paid it and decided to call customer service to resolve this. Also, he couldn't give me a full quote until Solvit separately sent out their electrician and HVAC people to take a look, each of which would require an additional separate fee. I later received an "estimate" from him for the product he recommended to which there was no $ assigned to it. I guess that's because he can't give a quote on electrical or HVAC labor to install the product. So I don't even know how much the product costs and in order to find out, I need to pay $228 to find out just the quote. No thanks.

Luckily their customer service was very kind and admitted their mistake in my initial conversation of setting up the appointment and refunded me the $114 in whole. I greatly appreciate that, but the fact that I never received any sort of ballpark quote made me not want to do business with them altogether. Every other HVAC company I spoke with was able to give me an honest quote on the spot or within a few days. And every other HVAC company I called was a free quote...

The company has a very bad communication problem. I had an energy audit done at my home in which my experience was horrible. They did nothing but walk around and talk to each other. We had to show them air leaks that they said weren't there. I also had insulation done in my attic which I had to call the office for my invoice a week after the work was done. I also was supposed to receive a print out and info on a air test in my house. The test was for drafts in the house and I never received any. This has been week two of waiting and nothing. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

This company exceeded my expectations. Denis was the last of 3 technicians send my way to fix and issue none of the others were able to. He was very kind and professional his level of experience is superior and excelent. Like he said, he took care of my situation as of he was taking care of his mother's house, that speaks highly of him I my opinion. My heater unit was heating at all with this cold weather and he didn't leave till he figured out the problem & made sure everything else was checked and assured me it was up and running well. I highly recommend this company specifically Dennis! 🙂

Solvit offers such a reasonable rate for the contract we gladly signed up. They came a few times for yearly maintenance and all was well. Last year during AC cleaning their tech came up and said we were seriously in need of Freon. This was in the middle of a heat wave. So we spent $1000. for Freon based on the tech's word. The following year another tech comes to service our heater and we asked about the other tech. Well he was fired as he was "over selling products". This week we called Solvit as we had an emergency with our water heater. We had replaced this water heater about 8 months ago using our local plumber. Solvit was $1500 more even thought we had a contract. We called our local plumber when we had a problem getting hot water.and he told us what was wrong and what we needed but since we had a contract with Solvit we decided to call them. Since they were to busy on that Sunday they said they would come on Mon. between 10-4:00. We called on Monday morning they had no record of the appt. They rearranged their schedule and a tech came within a reasonable time frame. In the mean time my husband looked up the price of the damage part . On Amazon, Home Depot and the local plumbing and supply store the price was 82.00. Our Solvit tech agreed that was what was wrong with the heater and quoted us a price of 1000.00 for the part. When my husband told him the price he found online the tech called the company and he came back with a discount price of 845.00. for part and labor ( about 8 minutes worth of labor) We said no. My husband ordered the part for 82.00 and our local Heating co came over used our part and just charged us for the labor. Be careful with these people they bring you in with the inexpensive maintenance contract and get you with parts. We will not ever be using or recommending them again. Stay away from them.

It's difficult for me to believe SolvIt has a 4.5 star rating. In my one and last experience with this company, SovIt did not show up on time and their repair estimate was ridiculous. The appointment was scheduled from 8-12. At ~12:43pm I had to call for an E.T.A.. Their dispatch representative was hostile at first, but immediately toned down after realizing I'm no wilting violet. Dispatch gave me an E.T.A. and told me a manager would call me to explain why no one called to advise that the tech. would be late. No one ever called. When the tech. arrived he gave me an estimate of $1300 to replace a tiolet wax ring and flapper for 1 hours work and $20 worth of parts? Are you kidding me? I paid $107 for the diagnosis and kindly asked him to leave.

Nelson and Sage arrived on time and was very courteous. They were very helpful and answered my questions regarding the replacement of my washing machine water valves. I plan to contact Silvio again when I have any plumbing needs.

i called HARP / Solvit to provide both a furnace and A/C tune up from a promotional brochure. Your representative came and inspected my two five-year-old gas hot-air gas furnaces-A/C systems and my gas water heater, both high efficiency. He was polite and professional but a little condescending. He suggested routine maintenance for my A/C system totaling $2,500 and routine maintenance on my furnaces totaling $2,400 including $1,460 for water heater maintenance assuming two water heaters not one. He also gave my a quote for installing humidifiers on both furnaces at a price of $3,000. For the total of $,7,900 I could obtain one new system. I find these estimates for routine work way too high and unaffordable. I plan to obtain estimates for this work from other reputable companies.

My house has a unique HVAC system for CT and Jagger took the time to understand the system and do a proper diagnostic on it. He took the time to fully understand how my heat pump, furnace, and controls were setup. I've since recommended SolvIt to my parents.
