Above i wrote a neg review for Lassen Heating - there was a misunderstanding. Mr lassen worked with me directly for a long time.
the issue is NOT with Lassen i see now. the issue i have is with Carrier brand Support.
I bought the house 2 years ago and Mr Lassen installed the system and he was never called to service it for many years. today we talked and he assisted me and offered me some valuable advice. i appreciate his time and patience.

My experience with the Lassen HVAC company has been limited because not because I haven’t tried over and over and over again to get in touch with the owner of the company who originally installed a carrier infinity HVAC system in my home in Northwest Connecticut. I have not received any phone calls back and I have been trying to diagnose a fourth code for over one year at this point And have left numerous voicemail friendly messages to ask if they could come over and try to diagnose the situation. They were the original installers. I bought the house two years ago and would’ve like them to do the original service but never got a call back. Disappointed and frustrated .

We had Lassen Heating and Cooling install a Carrier air conditioner 4 years ago. It was installed neatly and promptly and the workmen were very professional. Since then they have serviced our unit yearly with no problems and always done right. We would recommend Sean and his company to anyone looking for a great company with quality workmanship and materials.

When we bought our house almost 7 years ago, it came with aging central A/C units. We have utilized Lassen Heating and Cooling for these past 7 years and have received nothing but a high level of professional service. Sean took care of our nearly 20-year-old units - even coming out one year on a miserably hot Memorial Day weekend to fix a leak - and then last month, his team installed new units in our home.
The removal of the old units and installation of the new took several days. Sean and his team were courteous and respectful of our home; he called each morning to let me know when to expect him that day and was willing to work around our morning schedule. When installing the basement unit, he took extra care to install the ductwork in such a way to make it easy for us to refinish the basement in the future, and for the line set which runs down the side of the house from the attic unit to the outdoor unit, they made sure to cover it discreetly with a PVC casing that blended well with the side of the house. Sean also took the time to explain the new thermostats and make sure we had all the correct paperwork for all available rebates.

Sean Lassen is very responsive. I can text him questions and he answers quickly. He cared about fixing our system correctly. The job was difficult yet he did it on time and on the day promised. His quoted price was exactly what we paid. I will utilize his services again.

Less than impressed. Our A/C went out two summers ago. We were told the motor burned out due to a lack of cleaning the filter, but that the motor was covered under warranty.
It took about an hour to replace the motor a few days later, but the total cost of labor ended up being more than $450 at a rate of $90/hour. When we asked him to itemize his charges, the breakdown made no sense - there was even a $180 charge to drive to pick up the motor. Shipping overnight via FedEx would have been around $50.
We had agreed upon the price ahead of time, so we weren't surprised by the bill, just the reason for the high cost on a quick swap of a warrantied part. He replaced the motor and the A/C works fine, but we won't be hiring Lassen again due to the shady billing.

Installed a Carrier Infinity system and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend Lassen Heating and Cooling for your heating and cooling needs.

Nice guy, seemed knowledgeable. But, quoted $1500 for a job later done by another contractor for $400. Odd way for a new business to win customers.
