Austin Heating & Air

A tech came to the house to fix the leak. He said it was fixed and but wasn’t. Another tech came after 2 weeks but he left and didn’t do anything coz of raccoon foot prints in the attic, that has been taken care of previously. It took a while to get another schedule. Always hard to get a hold of. Their answering service answers and I never got a call back. Third appointment, I got a text alert that the tech was gonna be late and nobody showed up. The following day, I got a text message that someone came and nobody answered the door, but there were people at home the whole time. So until now, I still have a leaking AC!!!

Worst experience ever! Had to deal with this vendor who was assigned to me through my home warranty plan, unfortunately. My air was not working and Chris the tech said the unit had to be replaced. I did not have confidence in him from the start, but okay, I need to do whatever is needed in this extreme heat wave Bakersfield is having at this time. I am a senior and have pets in the home. When I followed through to make the appointment for the replacement of the unit, "Nicole" was absolutely rude, hung up on me and told me to go elsewhere. True, I was criticdal of Chris who was in my opinion unprofessional and lazy. I came away thinking it was most likely because there is not a lot of profit in the job when it comes from a home warranty provider. I see other reviews that have had the same experience with Nicole so it is not just me that has had a problem with this person. I feel lucky to have escaped doing business with this company.

They added a huge amount of unnecessary uncovered work to the estimate to our home warranty company. To the tune of $1300 out of pocket, not covered by the home warranty company. Thank goodness we asked for a second opinion. I do not recommend them!!

Steven Ramos was professional and knowledgeable about my heater. He had the part and replaced it. I highly recommend your company for friends and family.

I would highly recommend Austin heating and Air. I had an issue with my heater and we just couldn't figure it out it took them several times but all in all Steven was an amazing technician and my heater works perfectly.

**DO NOT USE THEM** If you want to waste your time, money, and be talked down on, then these are your people. They are beyond unprofessional it's hard to imagine how they even have a license. I've used them for 5 houses my company manages and they have had the tenants waiting for over 2 weeks for a repair. When you call them to get an update, they put you on hold for 20 mins and then tell you to stop calling them. I hope we can put them out of business because they do not deserve clients. These homes have kids in there. If you cannot make an appointment, have some courtesy and call! Negative 1 star.

Steven was our technician. He was on time, and so friendly. He worked quickly and efficiently. We would definitely use again! Thanks Steven.

For 1 the 1st technician that came out didn't do what I asked and then I had a wait a week for another technician to come out just for my claim to be denied the lady that answered the phone at the company literally hung up on me and I filed a complaint with FAJ and I told them I was never going to use them again and I am going to cancel my contract with FHA because they are do what they say they're gonna do I paid more to have The ability to have the ducting work on and they denied my claim so I give you a 0
