    The technician was professional and friendly. He explained everything he was going to do that day. When the bad coil was found he showed and explained the problem. Appreciated all the info. He did a great job.

    Austin heating and air is a very good company. They replace my home air conditioning and heating unit in a very timely manner. All they’re technicians that have came out from start to finish were all great employees. Steven find out the issues and Jimmy installed the new unit. I would definitely recommend this company for any heating and air issues.

    Austin Heating & Air were called out by my home warranty company in January when my heater stopped working. They replaced a control board on the system in the attic, and the heater started working again. However, fast forward to April when it started getting warm, we noticed that the AC wasn't coming on (it was blowing, but not cold air). My boyfriend got in the attic to check on the system, and noticed that one wire was completely disconnected from the control board and the lid hadn't been placed back on it. Therefore, there was no signal being sent to the AC to start up.

    I called Austin Heating & Air and asked them to send someone back out since their tech did not leave the system in the proper condition and didn't finish the job properly. Over the course of a week, I called numerous times to talk to a supervisor about it, but no one ever returned my calls. They told me I needed to call my home warranty company again ($75 for each claim), but I felt strongly that I did not need to pay the $75 again because of Austin Heating & Air's error.

    My boyfriend googled information about the panel and guesstimated on where the wire should go based on what he found online, but was still not certain how it should be wired. I called back and explained the situation again, asking please at the very least for a tech to return my call and answer over the phone if he connected it to the right spot. Again, no one returned my calls. We are almost 1 month out from my constant calling and refusal of the company to help.

    Austin Heating & Air has horrible follow up, customer service and does shoddy, incomplete work. I definitely would not recommend this business to anyone.

    So I was assigned to this company through First American Home Warranty. This company was on time, professional, and were able to get me a new ac through the insurance (super shocked if you’ve ever dealt with FAHW). I was totally shocked on the whole experience and would recommend them to anyone! Now to getting them to call me back to confirm my install appointment was rough (never got a call back), but FAHW text me when to expect their arrival, which made it a smooth install. The installers were amazing and gave me more informa That I ever imagined and were very helpful.

    Technicians diagnose the problem and fix your unit in a timely manner. Leave the work area neat and clean. Very satisfied with their work.

    Great customer service. Nice and courteous. He was on time and he answered all questions. Explained the service and gave advice going forward as new homeowners this is important to us to know the signs of a failing ac. Will use them again.

    My clients had been dealing with a terrible vendor that was assigned to them from their Home Warranty company. As their realtor, I stepped in to help facilitate the process of getting their heater fixed as it went out during the ridiculous freezing cold weather in November. After our dealings with the previous vendor we're finally done, Austin's came in like a super hero and got stuff done! They restored not only heat, but hope for my clients that their soon-expected baby would be born in a house with heat. The whole process took about a month and a half which was a welcome change to the 2.5 months we had battled with the other company. Austin's - you have my thanks and my recommendation and I have personally written the home warranty company requesting you to be the first point of contact for clients in the area that was serviced. Thank you again for restoring heat and hope for my clients!

    They came on a home warranty call. All I can say is nothing but amazing! They were quick, on time and very professional. The highlight to all of this is that they are HONEST! They don’t try to scam you out of your money and will tell you how your system is actually doing not trying to upswell you into a new system like most HVAC companies now n days.

    Most of the bad reviews on their page is 100% Karen’s to be honest. I’m sure when people don’t get their way they have to blame someone and since they work with home warranty I’m sure it’s not their fault warranty won’t cover some issues.

    Jose came in and ask us what the unit was doing and he checked the problem. It took a couple of attempts to see what it was and finally concluded, it was the blower. He told us since it was Christmas it might take a little longer to get part. He ordered part and office called a day later and told us a date and time a week later. Jose arrived on scheduled time and installed part and waited to make sure the system worked and once he tried the system twice, he said if we had any problems to make sure to call back, which reassured me. Jose was courteous and friendly and answered all my questions. I would call Austin’s again and make sure I ask for Jose as my technician.
