These guys were assigned to us by our home warranty company, never again!!!!

While the tech that came out was nice, he had no clue how to fix our system. He was on the phone with his manager trying to sort out what to do... In the process he removed 2 pounds of Freon, stating our system was "overcharged" which was causing the issue. They left us saying "let it run and call us if it doesn't work", turned warm almost instantly and it never cooled down as it should. My husband called, I called and texted and we never were acknowledged.

Once we got a qualified company to look at it, they instantly diagnosed the issue as needing a new fan motor for the condenser unit and change the capacitor.

These people COST ME $270 because they took out Freon needlessly which I had to pay to replace.

I had my home owner insurance request service with Kappa Air. I called service dispatch and no one picked up, I text their number and got a reply that they couldn’t come today (Thursday) and said they would come tomorrow (FRIDAY 11-3). I kept calling and no one would answer and text the number back and no one reply. According to their website they don’t work weekend. I have a 2 year old and it’s 110+ degree. Poor work ethics, especially if they pride themselves to to family own.

Brandon was amazing, professional and provided details on what was going on with our unit and educated us how to avoid problems in the future. He was on time and even called to follow up the next day to ensure everything was still in working condition. We will recommend Kappa to all of our friends because of Brandon!

I do not tend to leave a lot of reviews but when a company exceeds my expectations, I feel like I should. Working with Phillip and Kappa-Air on my AC Units has been a great experience! In an industry where it is hard to know who to trust, Phillip's expertise, honesty and customer service set him apart from the rest. I had unusual problems with my units and Phillip was not only able to diagnose the problem accurately but also fix it in a timely way that worked with my schedule. He never once tried to upsell me and was always willing to take the time to show and educate me on my units. If you're looking for a new unit or someone to maintain the health of your current units, I highly recommend Phillip!

Terrible customer service and quality of service. They work with a home warranty company Old Republic and provide terrible service all away around. They were supposed to repair a indoor AC fan motor covered by the warranty but they wanted us to spend $300 to clean the AC unit which had nothing to do with the AC failure so they stopped the work order request and the our tenant was left to go to hotel with no AC just because this greedy little company didn't get $300 from us to clean the AC unit which wasn't the AC issue they were there to fix or an issue at all. Now we are sending in complaints with BBB and home warranty company because of all time and money wasted from hotels stays we will pursue legal action to recoup lost funds due negligence from this AC company. DONT EVER USE KAPPA AIR OR A HOME WARRANTY COMPANY. Owner of the business likes texting instead of speaking on the phone with customers and was very unprofessional.

I own a property in AZ and needed an AC repair. With the weather being so hot, I needed it fixed ASAP! They came out the day after I called and got it done. Best work I've had yet!

Our Kappa-Air technician was Brandon. He had great communication, he called us when he was enroute to our home for the service call.

Brandon was professional and explained everything he was going to do to check that our unit was working properly. Once he completed his checks he informed us of his findings! Thank you for the great job!
