My AC went out over the weekend- of course. Even though I had to wait until Monday, somebody was able to message and let me know that they will be able to schedule me during the week.
When Anthony- the service technician came over, he made sure that I understood everything and explained all the details of what needed to be done. I will likely be using Kappa for a new AC install in the near future.

Kappa Air was a company contracted through my warranty company and I’ve never had great success with AC repair companies. I was so impressed with Matthew and Kappa Air. He came out, explained what was going on with my system and got it up and running again. But he didn’t stop there, he wanted to finish his inspection and make sure the system wouldn’t have any more problems. He gave recommendations on how I could do maintenance cleanings on the system and shared additional services that Kappa Air offers. The best part was he didn’t do it in a salesy way, he was just being informative and educational. I wouldn’t use another AC company in the valley.

I needed an AC installed for my mother because it was beginning to get to hot for her and all she had was a small fan to keep her kind of cool. Kappa air came out and installed one for my mom. She's been using it everyday. I highly recommend this professional work.

I have worked with multiple AC repair companies and Kappa Air was by far the worst. The technician was polite, but it was also obvious they weren't very experienced with AC repair. Our current AC unit was damaged, and we needed a technician to fix it so we could get cool air during the hot Arizona summer.

Our technician was not able to answer basic questions about our AC unit and didn't seem to care when bringing up the issues I had with the unit. It was obvious that Kappa Air wanted to do the least amount of work possible in fulfilling the work order to fix the AC unit. Their methodology for attempting to fix the AC was very minimal and didn't include any testing procedures that I have seen from other AC repair companies. There were no physical attempts to fix the unit despite pointing out clearly visible defects. In total the technician did not stay for more than 7 minutes, and no improvements were made to fix the AC.

If you have the choice, I strongly recommend working with other AC repair companies, even if you have to pay more.

I didn't actually get to speak with Anthony, my husband handled the business aspects of the service call. Ronnie, my husband felt he answered his questions and concerns.

My home warranty sen them out to my home to see the issues for my AC unit. The tech automatically assumed they wouldn't pay for the repair and quoted me a price to get it repaired. $1189. Called my warranty and they stated not sure why the tech didn't call them because they will repair what's wrong. They called them and got them back out to my home. In my knowledge to repair what they told them they cover. Nooo the tech installed things we did not go over. Then tried to charged me $1189 again!! I sadi no my warranty said they will repair this, what did you do? He took off one item and it came down to $473. My warranty has been trying to call them and so have I and no response from the at all. They have not returned any of our calls at all. Do not use this company. I want my money!

They claimed to have repaired the furnace under a home warranty when we purchased our home in July. When we went to turn on the heat for the first time (November), the furnace does not start.
The gas valve near the furnace wasn't even turned on which indicates they didn't even test the system after the supposed repair or they knew it still wasn't working and didn't care.
After turning on the gas, the system still doesn't start.

My home warranty company sent Kappa Air to my house early spring of this year. There was an issue with our condenser and the unit was pretty old despite working well. I asked the technician to get me pricing and we moved forward with the install. The techs were responsive and seemed to be knowledgeable at the time of install. However dealing with their management/owner has been awful. I requested SRP rebate information and the warranty from day 1. They have gone out of their way to ignore or blatantly lie about paperwork they are providing. According to Tim once I finally got in touch, I had to provide measurements from my 19 windows which I did. They stated they had wrote up the SRP paperwork and dropped it in the mail. Never came. After another few weeks of trying to get in touch, I get a response that rising heat has caused them to be in the field and they couldn't get to me earlier but they would be dropping off the paperwork to my door in person. Never happened. I did get them to send the warranty paperwork, which they lied about the install date on (probably because they never did it when they should have). Meanwhile, the Amana unit they put on my house does not work as efficiently as my previous 20 year old unit, my energy costs have increased significantly and I have zero confidence in this business as a whole. I have a string of unanswered texts and emails, and will likely never receive the papers I need to process the rebate. The texts and emails that I do have responses to are filled with excuses or lies. I am now opening a claim with BBB and the city of Mesa licensing and dev services departments. This type of service is unprofessional and should not be trusted.

When the technician came out he was so worried about trying to sell us on a coil clean that he missed the very obvious leak in the compressor line. (We had an independent technician and a home warranty second opinion both say the same thing) The technician added Freon when he never should have. We had a huge out of pocket cost. I tried to call the company for resolution and they never answer and haven’t attempted to call me back. When we use our home warranty we trust that they send out company’s we can trust. Unfortunately, Kappa Air is not one to trust.

I was having problems with my AC not working and called a few companies. This was my last call before giving up and this is by far the best experience I've had. They were professional and the technician was polite. If you're having problems with your AC, these are the people you need.
