Anthony was awesome! He showed up an hour early for the appointment, and the work was done fairly quickly. He was very personable and professional and we look forward to working with him again!

I don't trust this company anymore. My Home Warranty sent them out to diagnose my central AC that was no longer cooling. They talked me into getting a coil cleaning and installing a Compressor Saver device for about $600 which did no good. Their last tech told me there was nothing more they could do & sent me a quote to get a whole new AC unit for about $8500. When I called my Home Warranty to get a cash out offer for my current failing unit, Kappa told them it was working just fine. I had my Home Warranty reach out to Kappa for over a week to respond. Now, Kappa says they have to come out again & take new readings. Problem is, now they're too late. My AC will only stop cooling when it's above 100 degrees out and since it won't be that hot again til next spring, I have no way to recreate the failure. I want to get my AC replaced now, before it gets that hot again, I'll be going with another company, instead of Kappa, to replace it. I'm disappointed it took Kappa so long to respond. Kappa never answers their phone. My home warranty company had to leave them several messages & finally escalate it to my warranty's Contractor Relations team to get them to respond. Their lack of a timely response is unprofessional. I guess Kappa doesn't want my business to install a new unit, since they couldn't be bothered to correct the fact that it still doesn't work properly. They could've just corrected their last work service order & stated that it's no longer serviceable, instead of requiring another service call. It's a very dumb move on their part.

Anthony is a rockstar! We weren’t home due to the holidays and he went to the home and fixed our problem in minutes and did it all over the phone with me!!! Seriously saved my day!! The world is short on Anthony’s in the world that take pride in their job thank you so much for all he did. 10/10 for service and communication

I can’t say enough good things about this company or the technician Brandon! They were the 3rd AC provider referred by our Home Warranty company. The communication was timely and informative! Brandon is such a professional, kind and problem solving technician! Brandon diagnosed our issue, hunted down the part we needed, was back the next day, sooner than expected, and got our AC running! I’m sitting in a cool home as I write this review! Going forward I will only request this company when issues arise!! Thank you for being Customer Service oriented, great communication and sending Brandon…he’s the man!! If you’re in need of service, look no further and call them!

Ps. Run away from Thomas Home services and Summer Heating and Air (Vincent). If you stuck with them - 2-3 month minimum waste of time!!!

DO NOT USE this company for AC repair. Not responsive AT ALL. I called about the fan in my unit not running. Brandon was my tech and, while very polite, he spent only about 10 minutes looking at the unit. He repaired a wire which seemed to get the unit running, but after 3 days it went right back out. Same thing, fan not running. Because they were contracted through my home warranty, the warranty company needed the diagnostic report from the initial call. Turns out no one from the company had ever sent it over. I tried to call Kappa air multiple times on the day of my actual service and once I found out the report had never been sent over. Couldn't get ahold of anyone no matter what I did. Their voice mailbox was full, they don't respond to their text option (they quote you a response time of 10 minutes), and they didn't respond to the email sent to them by my home warranty company. Incredibly frustrating experience overall. Easily the worst contractor my home warranty company has utilized...

Speck Tickles

Home warranty sent this company out. The house was vacant at the time. The technician never called me while at property. I called the next day and the individual finally sent me a "Diagnostic" on the invoice with no technical information what so ever. I am pretty sure he turned on the AC felt cool air and left. I paid 70 bucks service fee to the home warranty company, which is not refundable. So I imagine they do this all the time.
