Rainforest Plumbing & Air Conditioning Repair

We needed a leak detection service for an outrageous water bill. We were feeling overwhelmed and nervous about who to ask for help. I found Rainforest Plumbing and Air add on the internet. It said that they were affordable and fast. They were both of those things and so much MORE! I called late on Thursday afternoon and the receptionist had a team out for a free consult at 9am the next morning. After determining that we did indeed have a leak they asked if we wanted to move forward with hiring the leak detection team at $340 for 90 minutes. We said yes and they had a team out within 20 minutes!! The team that did our consult, Frank and Jessy, stayed to go over all that they had discovered in the consult with the leak detection team to make sure they got the most of the time. I was really impressed with this. Once they determined what was happening they went over the details with my husband and I. There were repairs that needed to be done. They offered to itemized the work so we could decide which parts we wanted to do, just in case we could not afford do all the work at the same time. We came up with a plan to move forward with the repairs. We asked when they could start. I was so impressed they said we can start right now! They headed to Home Depot and picked up the parts and got to work immediately!! They took half off of the $340 price for the leak detection since we were having them do the repairs. Frank and Jessy worked for the rest of the afternoon installing a new sink, new toilet and doing other repairs. They were so knowledgeable!! We asked questions off and on throughout the process from everything to hard water to mold issues. They offered answers and solutions. Their work was top notch!! They we prompt, kind, respectful, and VERY, very clean!! They took care of everything!! When they left everything work beautifully! We were thoroughly impressed!! We cannot say enough about them. Have had several of their techs out in the past for HVAC jobs I thought were simple, but had been told we needed replacement of units rather than repair. Then we had Tony step onto the property and suggest the exact same diagnosis that I had reached with an ohmed out compressor. His quotes were on point and he preformed the labor without skipping a step and replaced the compressor for a problem apartment without any problems. Very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. 5/5 would hire again.

I had to call at 8pm at night for an A/C repair. I spoke to someone who took my info and within 30 minutes I had a call back. They did offer immediate after hours service. I decided I could wait till the morning and Braddlie was at my house by 7:30am. He was quick to diagnose and repair. I will definitely be using this company for my tuneups and repairs when needed. Very pleased!

I would 100% recommend! I am a personal assistant to a 92yo woman who lives in a 4th floor penthouse, whom is out of town for the summer. I got a phone call that there was a major water leak coming from right below her toilet (but not coming from the toilet) so a plumber needed to go through her wall to get to the leak just below. It caused major water damage all the way down to the first floor. Henry and Wyatt were sent over to do the job...a very big job! They were very polite, kind, diligent,
efficient and clean with incredible skills to do what needed to be done. They explained everything to me as they worked. Their manager even called me while they were working to see how it was going and to make sure it was running smoothly...which I was very impressed by. They did an epic job and I just want to say, "Thank you for all your hard work!"

I hired Rainforest to replace a MasterCool evap cooler. The techs were hardworking and generally nice, but this project did not go well or as planned. It was scheduled to take one day; I ended up having to be home 5 days for the initial installation, and there is still something wrong with the new thermostat (I've taken 2 more days off since trying to get it fixed). The techs blame the manufacturer for supplying bad parts, blame my old house and electrical, and (the latest) claim that the thermostat was designed to default to "On" and reset clock and temperature after a power outage. {Master Cool disagrees; default should be to the last setting before the power outage.} Ultimately I will pay another vendor to replace this once I get a chance. When all is working, it's great. I didn't appreciate having to take all the extra time off work (RF did take some money off for that), and I didn't appreciate the blame game. Yes my home is old; that was apparent during the quote process. Mostly I dislike being lied to about this and having to eat it. I spent $6k (plus many, many hours) and still need to hire someone else to finish this project.

Anthony Patterson was the technician who came out to help fix my heater. He was knowledgable, professional, and we are very pleased with his service.

Your Tech/Eric was excellent. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and polite. I will definitely recommend Rainforest to my neighbors and friends. Eric should get a raise!!! Don't let him be hired by your competitors. Thank you for and to Eric.
