Valley Heating and Cooling - Decatur

Our air went out Thursday night. Friday morning I called our regular plumbers because they do heating and cooling as well. I was told the techs were all busy and it would be Saturday and a weekend fee. I called Valley Heating and Cooling next and couldn't be happier. Adam Mason arrived quickly and determined what was wrong with our 2006 unit. That was fixed very quickly. After he left, we left too knowing we'd come back to a cool home. Unfortunately that was not the case and the unit had cut off again. I called Valley again and they sent Adam back out. He arrived quickly and it was determined at that time a new unit would be needed. He explained we would qualify for a program through Decatur Utilities to finance the unit and we decided to do that. Our new unit arrived today (Monday). Instillation did not take long and my house is now cool. Sean and Jonathan (I do not believe this name is correct but was provided via text.) preformed installion and did a terrific job. All technicians were friendly, clean and professional. Roy, who works in the office was able to assist quickly with payment questions and issues. Thank you Valley Heating and Cooling! If you had plumbing services, we would call you for that as well!

Hands down the best service! Called to have my AC serviced as it was old and quoted for a new unit. My original AC was 20yrs old and couldn't take the coolant anymore. Was quoted a new unit on Tuesday and Wednesday it was installed. Talk about getting it done. Vance K, Shawn E, and Gabriel A. were amazing in removing the 20yr old unit and bringing in the new unit. It was pouring rain outside and they kept at it, never stopped for anything. Vance took the extra time to reroute the unit lines really nice and neat as I preferred it. (my OCD) They upsized the return and filter to provide better airflow. This required my ceiling to reframed and Vance made sure it was done right. Best AC service ever received. I wish all companies could provide service like this to their customers. I highly recommend Valley heating and Cooling for your AC service needs. 5 stars all the way! Great Job! We got four quotes from local companies to replace our old central unit. After reviewing all the quotes, Gerald (Operations Manager) with Valley Heating and Cooling was the only one that quoted a unit adequate for our home. The other companies quoting smaller units just to present a lesser price. The installers Brandon and Sean worked non stop all day to get our unit installed. They had to work several hours in a hot attic and never complained.
They had work ethic I haven't seen in a long time. When the job was finished they made sure everything was cleaned up and that we were satisfied. This was a great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Valley Heating and Cooling.

Sean and Clint installed a new split unit for me. Every house is different, and they troubleshooted any issues quickly. They were very meticulous and detail oriented and made my house comfortable again in a single day. Very happy with choosing Valley H&C.

Another company came out yesterday and quoted $10K to replace an entire A/C unit. Called Valley. They were very accommodating and hooked us up with Adam. He was very helpful, friendly, and explained the fix clearly and completely. I would highly recommend this company and especially Adam!

Our AC went out and after putting in a request with another company, waiting a whole day for a response, we decided to call Valley Heating and Cooling and they were able to send a tech, Johnathan Stebbins, the same day. Johnathan was prompt, identified the issue and repaired our AC quickly. Not only were they quick to respond and fix our issue, they were affordable and honest. Will use again if needed and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Edward was great to work with. He took his time and thoroughly checked my system and explained what was going on. After getting me quotes on multiple repair options he went over all the details of each quote. I appreciate his professionalism.

The install team was great notifying me before they showed giving a good estimate of how long it would take and then notifying me when installation was complete. Great attention to detail on how it went including turning off temporary cooling unit and fan allowing the new unit to cool. They also checked out the heating furnace with new thermostat! Great job Vance Kanaday and team!

Our AC unit went out on a Friday. Our service tech Tyler E. was very respectful and was spot on with his assessment. The unit that went out was too small for the house and struggled to keep up during summer and winter. Brandon B., Vance K., John W., and Johnathan F. were out here Tuesday installing my new AC unit (Would have been Monday but bank was closed Saturday and Sunday). The team that came out here were very professional and very knowledgeable. Vance K. is the house Guru lol, he walked into the house and started talking about the home remodels we had done like he was the one that did the remodels lol. He knew we had enclosed the car port to add onto the house, knew where previous walls were at. Vance K. definitely knows houses. Brandon B. was really professional and went back up into the attic multiple times to adjust settings to make the unit run perfect! I really can’t say enough about the whole crew. We will most definitely continue using valley heating and cooling for our home. The end result was the team did a great job installing the unit. I got to talk more with Vance K and Brandon B since they were the ones inside the most and our service tech hit the nail on the head. We had our unit set to 70 yesterday and it was colder in our house than with our old unit being set to 64!

My central unit was not working. I called and shortly after ,they sent Brandon M . He was respectful and professional. He told me the unit needed replaced. The Next day !!! Brandon B and Johnathan F came out and replaced the hvac .. They were very hard workers . It was a big job and they didn’t even take lunch because they wanted to get the air working for me and my two special needs kids. I feel like they were very professional and mindful of the mess . I would highly recommend this company!!!!
