We had a whole house humidifier installed in January 2019 and we never got the humidity levels higher than 20% throughout the entire winter. Few weeks ago, I called in for service and the person who installed it himself came back and said that he forgot to check if the HVAC was set to intermittent, which was causing continuous air flow from outside, which made the humidifier install useless. He said everything should work fine from then on and went. After seeing no change in humidity values, I called for service again and another technician came in today and said that the humidifier fan was never running since the outlet it was plugged into was tripped. I am not sure if it was the outlet or if it was something that was loose inside the humidifier itself since he was moving the wires around from inside. So, basically, during the previous two visits, the humidifier was not doing anything.

I called to report a complaint and I was welcomed by this service dispatch lady, according to whom this was not a problem at all. And, it was my responsibility to open up the humidifier, connect the fan by extending the wires, and making sure that it was running. It was also my responsibility to check what the HVAC system was set to during the installation. According to her, I was shown mercy by not charging me for the consecutive visits, to fix their broken installation! Their “best” installer himself admitted that he forgot to check it during initial install, when he was here last time.

All I wanted was them to acknowledge that the installation was bad and accept some sort of responsibility, but, they didn’t. All they did was to try to make it look like it was my problem.

I was really impressed with their work earlier, but I guess you see the true colors of a company when things don’t go as planned. This is the last time I will be calling them for any work, as this sort of behavior to a paying customer is unacceptable.

We had our garbage disposal replaced due to its age. And what a better service than that Dave Jones provided. Dwight did an outstanding job, was very professional, had a friendly attitude, and gave us helpful tips to extend the life of our new garbage disposal. Next time we have a problem with anything that Dave Jones helps with, we are calling them!

We've used Dave Jones a number of times in the past and have had good and timely service, with very fair pricing. This time was the same, however, we were disappointed in that the service person put a small gouge in our (recently refinshed) hardwood floor and a scratch in our granite counter. Neither os huge, but it would seem that a little more attention to detail like a drop cloth and counter cover could have avoided this problem.

Excellent customer service and quality work. I needed a back water valve installed on a sewer line and they bumped up my schedule when I called this morning with the concerns of flooding in my area. Work was completed by the afternoon and now I have one less thing to worry about this weekend. Thanks so much for the last minute install.

The service I received from Dave Jones was A+. From initial appointment booking through work completion of a hot water heater change out. My tech, Bob O. was timely and careful throughout the process. I will be asking Dave Jones, Inc. back in the near future for additional projects, and requesting Bob.

This company has serviced our home for more than 20 years, including installing a new furnace, air, and UV blubs. They have excellent service all around and in every. I give them nothing but pluses in every way!

Installed a gas line for my gas fire place. Excellent communication, followed through, and gave instructions on how to use. I Will return with all my needed work or home improvements. They great from start to finish.

Recently replaced a hot water heater in our home. The Dave Jones service call was made by Dwight. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient! We've used Dave Jones in the past, which is why we called them again. They've always shown us impeccable service and so we'll continue to support them in the future.

Eric was able to diagnose my problem over the phone. The part was ordered ahead of the appointment and installed for less than the estimate. Very happy with Dave Jones service!

Called 30 minutes before appointment and asked to reschedule for the next day. I agreed.

Next day comes, the plumber is a no show. I called and the representative said the plumber could ~probably be there 2 hours AFTER the appointment time.

I said no thanks, and I called their competition.

I have used Dave Jones numerous times in the past, but I won't use them again.
