I was so impressed with Kyle's honesty, professionalism and courtesy! My furnace had stopped working and I called Capital on the recommendation of a friend's friend. I was embarrassed about the state of my messy basement and Kyle made me feel okay about it. The problem ended up being a simple no-cost repair, and Kyle made me aware of it without trying to inflate the issue or misinform me to increase sales. He also made me aware of a problem that will need to be addressed soon and I plan on returning to this company for that repair when it is financially feasible due to the positive experience I had. Thanks for the great service!

We had lost heat and gotten a quote from our original provider. Capitol was able to able to come out the next day and do a review. Jay was very professional and personal. He explained what he was going to do and how long it would take. Instead of just offering one option like the original provider, he gave us multiple options. Anthony and his crew came out a day later to install the new furnace and air conditioner. They were also very professional and prompt. They explained what they were going to do. They laid out floor coverings and cleaned up after the work was done. Anthony helped set up the smart thermostat and explain how it works. They were a little more expensive but the service was excellent

Overall, very satisfied!

Availability: I originally called on a Monday morning because my furnace stopped working on Sunday. I had used Capital in The past and was pleased. They could not get me in until the following week, and my house was 51 degrees so I was forced to go elsewhere. A repair man came from another company same day and advised to replace the unit. I ended up at Home Depot, who sent me to one of their contractors- which happened to be Capital after all. Going through the Home Depot channel offered me my contractor of choice the same week.

Staff: The sales person, and all the staff that I have worked with were incredible.
They brought us space heaters to ensure we were as comfortable as possible in a home that needed a new furnace. The staff is what will keep me coming back for all things HVAC.

Communication: I was sent the final materials and included was the direction to call for an inspection from the village. However, because 1/2 the system was sitting in my garage that didn’t make sense to me. (Winter install, a/c not installed due to frozen ground) that put more homework on me. I had to call Capital ask if I would then need two inspections or if I could just wait til the entire project was done.
Capital never contacted me to install the A/C when the ground was unfrozen. I had to call them to schedule, again, which was homework for me. A five star would have been staying on top of that and ensuring my system was installed as soon as the ground thawed, and sending the inspection directions after it was fully installed.

Pricing: the pricing I was given by the first company who came out to look at the unit and advise it needed to be replaced was significantly less cost than Capital. (Almost double in cost). They would have replaced it based on exactly what we had. I do believe you get what you pay for, and we did want to upgrade so this option worked out for us, and we’re happy with the bells and whistles.

Capital Heating and Cooling is a great company to deal with.

Bradley, the service technician was great! He is very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything he was doing.

This company was extremely responsive. Their technician, Mitchell, was very caring about our property and never stopped working all the time he was on the premises. He showed us before and after pictures of our ducts which had never been cleaned for over 30 years. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

Capital h&c has helped me and my household in very inconvenient times of the night and weekends. Cannot say enough good things about the response times and professionalism of the company and employees that have been here to help. Without a doubt, they are now and will be our go to business for any issues with our heating and cooling system needs.

Had an old furnace malfunction and Josh came out to have a look. He was very respectful and kind. Did a thorough job reviewing all facets of the furnace. Determined the issue with a heat exchanger, which is under a class action lawsuit, and gave us options for replacement. We opted to look at new furnace options, since this unit was over 18 yrs old and didn't like a system that would most likely fail again. Justin came out to cover options, and liked that he didn't even talk about systems until he understood our house and took all measurements of duct-work and airflow. Justin was thorough in reviewing everything about our current system and which rooms never really heated, before he even presented his findings. Even then, he did not toss out options until we fully understood what our duct-work can/can't do. And continued to rethink the architecture if he could make things even better with a lower cost or overhead of work. Ultimately, we chose a new furnace and ducts with Capital Heating, and the Capital Cares Club. Josh, Justin and the installation crew (Jacob/Carl) were all very friendly, courteous (on-time) and were exceptional at explaining everything to ensure we understood what was going on and options/information for every step of the way. Plus they didn't mind having our Golden Retriever greeting them every chance he got. Truly recommend them for any service, installation or even questions you may have!

Jeremy, our technician, was knowledgeable and fun to work with! He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and made a moderately stressful situation much easier to deal with. He was also great with our dogs! Thanks, Jeremy, and Capitol Heating, Cooling & Electric!

Alex Nader was a great technician and explained the entire duct cleaning process. He was professional and very polite and he provided me before and after pictures upon completion. He assured me that Capital Heating would mail me a paper invoice for my records.
His assistant, Liam Downs was a professional as well and was considerate to me and my tenant while she was working from home.

Our furnace went out on a freezing cold morning so after a quick Google search I found Capital Heating and Cooling. They were quick to respond which was fantastic. First came Josh, he was pleasant and professional, found the source of my ire a truly busted furnace after an explanation of what was going on he was able to get me set up with another team member. After Josh came Sandi who was also great. She explained everything in layman’s terms so I could understand and got me set up with the right system to replace the dead 23 year old one we had. Despite the unfortunate circumstances we got great service from both Josh and Sandi, and as I am writing this review our new furnace is being installed by David who has been just as pleasant as the first two.
