Capital Heating and Cooling has been very responsive to our requests and everyone has been so great to work with. I prefer communicating via e-mail due to my work schedule and Ryan sent me everything I needed via e-mail to help our initial conversation go well. Bradley came to our home and was professional and took the time to do a full evaluation of our system. He took the time to repair our system despite knowing that we may need to replace our system. Krystle took the time to answer all of our questions and did an excellent job explaining the math behind heating and cooling. She helped identify possible solutions to the issues we were having. We can't speak highly enough of Tony, Joe, Carl, and Chris. They came to our home to replace our AC, Furnace, and correct our ductwork. They were professional and when they disagreed with the original plan established with Krystle they helped explain why they were keeping our system how it was originally. We recently removed a boiler system from our basement and it has been sitting in our garage waiting to be taken away. Tony spoke with my husband and agreed to take the boiler for us so we don't have to worry about it. This was above and beyond and we are so thankful. Overall, we have had a positive experience with every person we have encountered.

My husband and I booked this company for HVAC cleaning after moving into a new home. They sent out a tech, my husband walked him around our home showing him the vents. The tech then asked to use the restroom, and a quick visit wouldn't have been an issue (we're all human) but the tech took a lengthy defecation.

After this, the tech did not provide any overview or education regarding the tasks he would be performing, or the service as a whole. The tech moved about the house silently, without telling myself or my husband what he needed access to, and when I approached him to ask, he just stared at me and seemed confused - as if I was in the wrong for trying to help. We also told him 3 separate times that we had cats in the house that we were trying to keep behind a closed door so that they would not try and escape through the propped back door. Despite this, he opened doors without asking until we reminded him again. This continued for the length of the service. I also heard the tech having a personal phone conversation for about the last 30 min of the service. Upon leaving, the tech showed me the invoice and photos but was mumbling under his breath at times and I couldn't understand what he was saying. No further education/overview was provided.

After the service, we were contacted 3 times in under a week to leave a review. Our service was on a Wednesday, and I finally called the company on Monday and spoke with a customer service person about our experience. They said they would elevate the feedback and I specifically mentioned the amount of times we were contacted to leave a review. I was told we were to be removed from this list, but today, I received yet another reminder to leave a review. So, I am doing so. I am frustrated by the professionalism of the tech, and the customer service experience wherein they can't even follow through at removing us from a contact list. Unbelievable.

Hired Capital Heating & Cooling do an annual A/C check for me. Communication regarding appointment, actual service technician and his arrival time were accurate and convenient. Service tech Kyle was very professional and respectful of my house (used shoe covers each time in & out of the house). After service was performed, he walked me through the condition of my AC and gave me several recommendations, but I didn’t feel pressured to purchase any on the spot. Took 1 star off because the solicitation for feedback was a little overboard, as I received several messages by text and email.

I called Capital because we heard a strange noise coming from our furnace. They were very efficient in getting a technician out to my home and texted me the contact information to the service person. Not only had they sent me his name, which was Josh, but also his contact number and a photo of what he looked like. I really appreciated that! Josh arrived on time and was very efficient in servicing my furnace. Josh was friendly, very professional and polite. Josh answered every question I had and also suggested that I increase the frequency of replacing the filter due to size of the household and living factors with multiple furry pets. I definitely would recommend Josh to anyone in need of service. Even my dog Anoka loved Josh! Josh was very nice and gave her a couple minutes of petting, because of course she's an attention hog and NO ONE is allowed to come in the house without her getting her pets. As I am a member of the Capital Cares club, my service call only costed 50 dollars. I am 1000% pleased with Josh and Capital Heating's service. They did everything right from the very first contact through completion of the service.

I received 5 star service from Logan, who responded to a call I made for water leakage. It turned out the prior tech who completed my a/c tune-up forgot to put one of the drain tubes back into the pump. The tube is right next to a pillar in my basement, so I never noticed it. Logan made a few other recommendations for improvements to my HVAC service. He was very professional and focused on solving the problem and making sure I was a happy customer. Review is 4 stars because the issue should not have happened, but Logan gets 5 stars.

The tech, Jason, was very professional and timely. We received a suggestion for multiple repairs due to performance reading. Due to the known age of the unit and the total amount of the repairs the recommendation should be to replace rather than repair.

Anthony and Chris did a great job on our furnace/AC installation. It was a 3 day project and they arrived when they said they would each morning. While at our home they were very respectful of us and our property. They left things tidy each day when they left and cleaned up very well on the last day. Anthony explained what was being done each day with great updates each morning and at the end of the day. He did a great job of explaining the equipment and how it works as well as how the app works to adjust and monitor the settings for our equipment. There was a part needed that is on back order, so there will be one more visit to complete the job. I hope Anthony will be the one to come back and finish things once that part arrives.

James OTech helped us with our diagnostic and issues supper nice and knowledgeable. Best technician I have worked with 5 stars for him. I wish I knew more before selecting capital heating and cooling to come out first. Great adds with discounts which create consumer pull unfortunately within their “sales” process they don’t explain the mechanics of the discounts till after you’re on the hook financially. By this I mean the phone CSR said the technician would assist with pricing and the technician said the field rep would be able to build quotes after the diagnostic so they know what we are working with. Meanwhile the diagnostic fee is extremely high but they tell you can roll INTO the cost of a new unit or the repair. Sad though they do not disclose any pricing till after you sign off. If I knew that the fee for diagnostics which is around 600 would roll into above industry pricing I would have gladly went with another company to evaluate my current system. The people who work for them such as their technicians are personable and knowledgeable. It is their sales process and the system they use which leads a consumer to feel wronged by the company. I think capital could be more upfront on their pricing which would of made the difference in my experience and lead to a different review.

They explained installation, demonstrated how to use devices, answered questions, and worked efficiently throughout the job. I recommend Capital Heating Cooling & Electric and plan to use their services in the future.
