Service Technician Jeb did a great job with a difficult to diagnose intermittent failure of our furnace motherboard (that was giving no error codes). He took all the time necessary, and only installed the needed motherboard. He had on hand, but didn't try to sell us, the collector that Lenox Tech Support suggested was needed. Jeb did a good install of a surge suppressor, and gave good explanations & advice for care, maintenance, & service. I can and do diagnose and repair all sorts of things myself, and often find faults in work done by trained professionals. But Jeb nailed it in all respects.

We'd asked friends and colleges for HVAC service recommendations. We got one vote from someone we don't know well, and four votes from people we hold in high regard. They all were for Vance. Now I know why. They were right. We're now signed up with Vance for semi-annual service/maintenance.

My husband and I noticed that our system wasn't putting out as much air as it normally did, and it was late August, and we knew our system was getting old, so we called 3 places to have them come out and look at it.
We said we needed a repair, but would also like a quote on a replacement.
My husband is very mechanically inclined, so he managed to figure out what was wrong with it, so I called all 3 places back and told them all it was no longer a repair, just a quote on replacement.
Mike from Vance was the only one that got that message. The other 2 places still sent out repair guys.
One of the repair guys was also able to look at it and give us information on a new system, but we never heard from him again, even after we called his office several times to see where his quotes were.
The other place, the guy just walked in, looked at the furnace for 2 seconds, said, OK, someone will call you back, never heard another word from them.
Mike from Vance gave us several options, followed up the next week, answered our calls, and got back to us right away.
The installers were here on time, worked hard, were nice as they could be, kept everything cleaned up as they were working, and my favorite part, Vance hires VETERANS!!!!!!
I highly recommend this company, great customer service, and I know they will answer the phone if I ever have any issues down the road.

Makala came out and did one of the necessary system maintenance checks. She arrived early, explained everything to me about what my system was doing and how to make it the most efficient it could be. I will use Vance’s Service forever!!
