Vance Heating & Air Conditioning

This is the second time I've had them come and fix my AC unit. They are always professional and courteous. Plus repairs have always been reasonable!! I highly recommend them for any of your AC or Heating needs. Also, they have financing for new systems!!

Todd was punctual, knowledgeable, patient and friendly as he assessed our system, went over options, and gave us a detailed bid for a new heating and air system. It was a very pleasant, positive experience.

Vance Heating was fantastic. Brandy was very helpful in letting me know ahead of time that the schedule was very busy this time of year and told me that the technician would be available the following afternoon. She was kind and professional. Carlos arrived on time and let us know that the parts for my 101 year old grandmothers furnace were over 50 years old and may be hard to come by. He hoped his shop would have a universal motor that may work. I asked him when he thought he could reschedule. He said there would be no need as he went back to the shop, found and installed the part and my grandmother had heat that night. Great job!

Vance Heating was amazing. They were prompt and their servicemen were efficient and very knowledgeable. Makayla was the tech who took us step by step showing us how to program our thermostat and she was very very knowledgeable .

Adam was very knowledgeable and professional. He did the heating and A/C inspection on my equipment. I was provided a list of things that may need attention and the price for doing it. No pressure.

Adam did great in replacing two capacitors, pressure switch, clean blower wheel and replace flue pipe! He was very communicative, professional and friendly definitely will be requesting him for any of my AC/heat needs!

Makala completed the service in a timely efficient manner. She is courteous and well informed and answered questions I had giving me suggestions for future care of my unit in a positive helpful way. She is an asset to your company.

What went well:
My best experience with this company was the professional installation. A team of three techs came out to perform this installation of a dual fuel heating system. The installation was completed as far as possible within the projected time frame. The work team was neat and cleaned up well after their efforts were completed. Totally recommend this team for system installation.

The office team was very professional and easy to work with.
The installed system so far (winter install so only evaluating heating mode as of this review) is working great.

What didn't work so well:
Sales contract had to be redone a few times to correct deficiencies within the terms and provide detail on exact content of the contract.

24/7 repair hotline was ineffective in correcting a heating problem on the first night of operation. Eventually was corrected the following day.

Furnace unit came with defective gas valve assembly and required a return visit to replace the defective part. Replacement was successfully completed the next day.

The defective unit was unable to heat the house adequately following the installation. When the technician was asked whether the unit would perform adequately following the installation of the defective unit - I was assured that it would be fine with a heat pump only mode (18 degrees Farenheit overnight temps.).

Summary: Vance is a company that is very knowledgeable about it's products and has chosen to value customer satisfaction and has put a number of systems in place to achieve that goal. Unfortunately not all of these systems are functioning fully to their capability yet. I would recommend them for future work and would likely use them again.

Vance is always very pleasant and professional to deal with. Today, Victor was on time, thorough, explained what he did and why. Flawless service.
