Quality of install: 4/5 they did a really fantastic job of keeping the lines clean all around the house. The heat pump was unfortunately installed not aligned straight with the house (see picture) and the electrical was not flush with the house like the HVAC piping was. They were kind enough to come back out and fix the electrical so that it was flush.

Professionalism: 2/5 I'm really disappointed to say that the crew wasn't always the best to work with. I've now learned to REALLY watch contractors, be explicit, and communicate rules before work starts. First they didn't take their shoes off so there is mud all over the house, and on carpeting. The bathroom had dirty footprints all over and on the bathroom floor rugs. There are also handprints on the walls around the new head units. During the install I could hear the workers yelling and cursing at each other, which was a bit uncomfortable. And finally, when I asked them how hard it would be to move a head unit (not asking them to actually do it) they became very defensive and antagonistic. I felt extremely uncomfortable with all the "YOU said it was ok" happening in my face. I noted that it was a miscommunication and that it was ok as is, but it felt really aggressive and I personally felt afraid communicating with them after that. Also they left garbage like water bottles in my backyard.

I do thank Jake and Daniel for rectifying the electrical!! That was very kind of them. Despite the discomfort I had experienced, I do want to credit Connor for his very beautiful work he did with the actual HVAC install. He's definitely very good at what he does.

Juan and Alex did an excellent job with our installation. They were professional, respectful of our space and communicative about the steps throughout the project. We appreciated that Juan responded with patience and clear explanations to our questions along the way which made it easier for us to understand how things were unfolding.
When there was a glitch on the last day of the install, they explained what happened, what the solution would need to be and resolved it that same day. This meant a longer day than planned for them (and it was a hot day) but they still maintained a kind and professional demeanor throughout.
We will certainly recommend them to anyone looking to get work done. Thanks!

Jay and Anthony installed a Mitsubishi heat pump at our home today. They were punctual, courteous, respectful, communicative, and didn't stray away from any of my questions I had throughout the day. Once the installation was complete and after fully cleaning up the working areas, they showed me the work which had been performed.

From the very first point of communication, Ballard Natural Gas have been fantastic to work with. I shall be recommending them to friends and family moving forward.

We just had three Mitsubishi mini-splits installed by Ballard Natural Gas Service. The process took two days of hard work, involving an electrician and two installers (Conner and Mike were just great!). They were all incredibly professional, polite, friendly, and truly committed to ensuring I was happy with the installation. I couldn’t be happier with my new units. I very enthusiastically recommend Ballard Natural Gas Service!

Used them to install heat pump in our townhome. Their cost was 30% less than a similar local company quoted us and they offered a better warranty and financing option. They scheduled us quickly, arrived on time, and completed the project in a day and a half. The installers were friendly and professional, and very sweet to my kids and my cat. Great experience overall!

Justin came by our house and he was great. He did maintenance on our heating system. He was knowledgeable and thorough. I would give him 5 stars. I give Ballard 4 stars because two things happened during our appointment. When the heater was installed, the salesperson said that he could level out the temperature in our basement and main floor and that didn’t happen. We spent money on a system and it was better, but Justin told us it would still be a 9-10 degree difference, one year after the unit was installed. Justin also told us we were having corrosion in our unit and we need a corrosion grenade. That was never told to us at the installation. Overall, I do recommend Ballard and Justin. Just couldn’t give a 5 star. I would definitely give a 4.5 if I could.

Very responsive and professional from estimation all the way to installation! Bert and Anthony were our technicians and they arrived on time, were gentle and respectful with our home, and did a wonderful job leaving no mess behind, from boxes, to clean walls and floors! Very patient explaining the systems and checking the installation afterwards. Great service!

Bert and Brady did an amazing job on my install. They even came in and fixed my gas fireplace when I mentioned I had issues. Neil designed really nice duct transitions for the system. Jordan came a couple of weeks prior and did a full panel upgrade and ran all the electrical. Overall, great experience, and recommend them 100%.
