Absolutely outstanding service. My tenant called me late on Wednesday (12/7/2022) with a no heat problem at my condo in Fairlington. I came in from out of town on Thursday morning (12/8) to see if it was something easily fixed (like a faulty thermostat). After concluding it wasn't something that I could fix or figure out right away, I called Dylan at HVAC around noon to see if they could get someone out that day. He had quoted a new system for me last summer, and I told him I was wanting to limp the old (central electric-only) system through the winter if possible due to plans for a major renovation. He suggested calling their service dispatch center. The nice lady I spoke with said that she would check to see if someone could come out before the end of the day, and called back in a few minutes indicating that they could.

Around 4:10 pm, Randy arrived. He understood the mission, and we headed up to the attic to investigate the situation at the air handler. He mentioned that he had never seen one like that before (so old). After taking off the panel to get access to the electrical terminals, he started the electrical probing. During the process, he made several face-time calls to the service manager (Steve) who was helping guide the process. First assessment was that no power was going to the coil wires and the voltage checks on the contactor switch were not as expected. They checked what they thought were the terminals of the heater coils and found them open (burned out). Then as I understand it, Dylan also suggested that they dig a little deeper by loosening up and pulling out the heater pack panel. When they did that and we could look inside, they concluded that the previous check had actually been on the two fusable links. Randy then disconnected the wires going to the two heater coils, and both coils checked out as good! They decided to directly wire up the coils (instead of going through the fusable links which they did not have replacements on the truck), we flipped the switch, and the heater worked!!!! So, now by about 5:15 and after multiple checks and phone calls among the HVAC team, and a temporary fix, we have heat again. Randy took the broken part to see if they could find a replacement. I told him that I would really like to get it done on Friday if possible due to my schedule.

Steve called me about mid-day on Friday indicating that they had found substitute fusible link that would work (the old ones was obsolete). Both Steve and Randy arrived separately (Steve had to make a special trip to the supply house and Randy was coming from the opposite direction from another service call) around 4pm on Friday 12/9. They said that they knew that I had to leave town and needed this done that day if possible. They installed the two new fusible links, started up the system, and perfect!; the old system was back up and running.

I was really, really, impressed with the responsiveness of everyone involved, willingness and understanding to address my desire to fix this old system to get me over the hump. The problem solving was top notch and made me really happy as I watched it take place in real time. They could have given up and just told me that I needed a new system to fix this old unit (something that I expect would be the case for many inexperienced repair people). This company was recommended to me years ago by a real estate agent that I trust, and she was definitely right. These guys are professionals; I highly recommend them.

Replacing a water heater isn't a glamorous job, but HVAC Unlimited did an excellent job from start to finish. My initial email for an estimate was met with professionalism and enthusiasm, I was given a reasonable estimate, the turnaround time was just a few days (and it only went that long to accommodate my schedule). They said they would arrive between 8-9am, and they did. They called when they were 20 minutes away to let me know, and when they arrived, they were friendly, took extraordinary care to protect my floors, they worked swiftly (though there was more involved with installation than I first realized), and I could pay securely with a card on the spot after they reviewed the installation and features of the new heater. Great job.

I've used HVAC & Plumbing Unlimited for plumbing before, so I decided to have them do my furnace check after having a negative experience with another company. Rony was on time, knowledgeable and friendly. He walked me through his suggestions and answered my questions. I will definitely use them again in the spring.

My HVAC was not blowing cold air at all. So a neighbor in my condo community recommended that I call HVAC Unlimited. I called and a person actually answered the phone. I was able to schedule service for later the same day. Robert, the service tech with HVAC Unlimited, was very customer service oriented and did a great job of getting my AC up and running. The cost for service and repair was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I have used HVAC for more than 10 years. I trust them to properly diagnose and repair all of my HVAC systems for a reasonable price. They always try to fix what I have and do not try to sell me anything I don't need. They respond promptly to emergency requests and are always on time for appointments. They communicate clearly about what they are doing and what needs to be done. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs any of the many services they provide.

The service appointment of my HVAC unit went really well! The technician was very knowledgeable, diligent and truly customer-oriented. He identified the issue promptly and addressed it. He also made sure that all repairs are done correctly and there are no other issues with the system. Overall great experience with this service appointment and great customer service.

Thomas from HVAC & Plumbing is amazing. He is a wealth of knowledge and is easily able to identify solutions to a plethora of the problems that I was having with my water heater/plumbing. I could not recommend this place more due to the fact that he is an amazing asset to their team!

HVAC Unlimited serviced my old HVAC System and installed my new HVAC System. On January 6, 2022 Robert Campbell serviced my heating system due to lack of heat. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and communicative. Once the issue was resolved, he proactively spoke with his supervisor and they decided not to charge me for the service call; they determined the issue was potentially related to a prior issue. In the future, I will request Robert as he went above and beyond to ensure I had a positive customer experience as well as his exceptional business acumen competence.
