The supervisor ended up yelling at me and my tenant on the phone on two separate occasions. She even called me a liar and told me that their confusion in receiving payment and coordinating the repairs were "not their problem!" This was very surprising because at first they were very kind and helpful. Whats even more surprising is that I have emails from them in which we coordinated all these details. Yet they they still got it wrong and never showed up. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal if they had just owned up to the issue. But they took absolutely no responsibility and pushed the blame onto me and others. Before all this, I was heavily considering giving them another job because I am always looking for good vendors due to how friendly they were. But as soon things got out of hand, the fangs came out. You lost my business and you wasted my time.

I have a home warranty and this is the company that was dispatched to service my a/c unit last September for them only to tell me my freon was low - no further checking to see if there were any leaks. I had freon replaced in the spring prior to that service call and again at that time. When I got my unit serviced this past May, I had to replace the freon again in which I knew was abnormal. I submitted another service request because I was having the exact same issue from last September (I also believe that because I turned the unit off last time, it wasn't frozen over but this time I left it running just so they wouldn't simply tell me the freon was low) and this company was dispatched again and I called AHS due to my last unsuccessful interaction with them tried to see if they could get another company but they weren't able to. I submitted the request on a Wednesday, this company called me back on Thursday and they couldn't come out until Saturday. When the rude technician came out on Saturday, who acted as though he really was an inconvenience for him to be there, the unit was frozen so I had to wait until Monday for them to schedule another appointment for them to come back out. So 5 days with no a/c and who knows when they will come back out and fix it. I guess the home warranty claims are not a priority, but I wouldn't use them for anything if my hands weren't tied with the warranty company. I have family members that when they ask to recommend a company, I tell them James River Heating & Air.
The staff was very professional and courteous. They were on time and less expensive than the other companies we looked at. We got a great deal and their work was top of the line! We will definitely use them again and we recommended them to our friends.

From the initial phone call the lovely was nice and concerned. The 2 gentlemen that worked on my unit acted as a team . Stan communicated all to me. They were honest and I would recommend them 100 percent.
