I requested an appointment with Gilman because I was having an issue with my ac. I got an almost immediate response. Technician was here next day. Very polite, professional, and personable young man. His brave was Devon Collison. He quickly found my problem, which was a bad compressor. He verified the warranty on it on the spot and gave me a quote to install it. I accepted it as I see no need to shop around based on experience so far.

Chris and Preston came to do lots of plumbing work. Install kitchen faucet and garbage disposal, replace sink pipes and replace shower pipe -- all of which turned out to be more difficult than expected. All jobs were completed and I am happy with the work. You couldn't ask for two more pleasant and professional guys. Will definitely use Gilman and their employees again.

Discovered a major leak in our water heater in the middle of the night. Called Gilmans’s 24/7 answering service and received a call and appointment first thing in the morning. In less than 12 hours we went from a bit of mess with no hot water to a newly installed hot water heater. Could not be more pleased with the professional work Brandon Griggs and Blaine provided. We were given an overview of work to be done and quote on options before starting. The installation is clean and neat…like nothing ever happened! Incredible response in the middle of a pandemic. Kristian and Noah searched for a plumbing problem that was affecting the water supply to my freezer ice maker. After a thorough search and inspection of the water line, they determined the cause to be with filter installed in the refrigerator. They were quick and very professional. I whole heartedly recommend the team at Gilman’s Heating/Air/Plumbing.

I've used a few different heating and cooling companies over the past 4 years in Mechanicsville. I'd switched to Gilman because of experiences less than great and previous companies. Gilman has exceeded all expectations, and their techs are extremely professional, easy to talk to, explain things in detail, and overall are pleasant to work with.
Josh Marshall has been my tech for the past few service calls and he is a stellar tech and talented professional. I can tell he is there to help me and has my best interests in mind. No question, he is the guy I'd call for any HVAC needs.

We requested an appointment and they came out the same day (early, in fact!) They were able to quickly diagnose the problem, provide a reasonable estimate and finished things up all within a couple hours. Both gentlemen were very professional and friendly and made me feel comfortable - same as the last time, and a big reason we are repeat customers!
