Called Gilman Heating, Cooling & Plumbing to come check my HVAC unit that had stopped cooling. James showed up and performed a thorough inspection of the system. He diagnosed a board failure in the unit; Replaced the board and cooling was back just in time for the Richmond Heat and Humidity. Fast, friendly, honest, reliable & professional staff. Found standing water under the AC unit in the crawl space. Didn't want mold to build up in my crawl space and lead to health issues for my family. So I called Gilman and they sent out Devon who did an awesome job repairing the unit and using his wet-vac to remove the water. Fast friendly and reasonably priced professional services from Gilman and their entire team.
The communication is top notch and they arrive on schedule with a bit of heads up notification prior to arrival. Thanks Devon!

Upstairs AC unit stopped cooling. I called Gilman late in the morning. Gilman setup an appointment between 3-5pm the same day. Troy H showed up about 15 mins aft texting me "Gilman is on the way to your home." Troy H was professional, respectful, timely, knowledgeable, prepared and provided excellent, speedy service! Happy customer that will recommend Gilman heating & cooling to anyone needing a heating & cooling professional. Thank you Troy!!!👏👍✌️

Excellent plumbing annual inspection & maintenance. Replaced old copper pipes under sink to facilitate new dishwasher hook-up

too expensive 90 dollars dispatch 74 operations should be fine but cahrging 200 dollars for a do dollars capacitor is too much .not going to use their services again

Replaced the water heater. Ryan did an excellent job . Fast, efficient and.left the area as clean as ye found it.

Arrived on time made repairs quickly and explained some technical issues regarding system operation. Discussed several different future solutions if additional problem occurs

Ronnie & Cody were ultimate professionals. They kept in contact, arrived on time and went above & beyond in every aspect with installing my new a/c & furnace. They worked hard all day, took the time to answer all of my questions & cleaned up so well, they probably left my home cleaner than they found it.
I’m so glad that I chose Gilman. From the beginning of the process, having Rusty provide an estimate, the customer service was top notch. I appreciated receiving a text with a photo of the technician who would be arriving. Gilman clearly values it’s employees by also providing some background on them in the texts.

Brandon was perfect! First. On time, if not early. Knowledgeable and kind. I was appreciative of him not talking down to me as a female and not understanding the exact details of the things he told/asked me. He took time to explain any questions I had and did so professionally.

Onto the cost. This was for installing a frost free spigot. The price was ridiculously fair. For a larger company I would have expected to be railroaded.

The guys at Gilman were great! They were prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. Even though they didn’t have great news to deliver about my plumbing , they gave me options and made it a little easier to take. I’d highly recommend them and will be using them again for future needs.
