Checked my system for me because I thought I heard a strange sound. I wanted to ensure everything was okay since I was selling the house. You were great. However, I have not seen my receipt, and I have spent a lot of time checking my “junk” folder also. This is a time consuming system, and I recommend you change this process. Text it, or something, please! I’m very busy and don’t have time to chase this down.

Great service! Mark was a wonderful technician and was responsive and on time. I have been a customer and contract holder with Kraft for 30 years now. The caliber and expertise of the technician is so important and Mark and former employee Brandon are two of the best in my experience. Recommend this business.

After researching various contractors to replace my 35 year old HVAC system, I finally decided to go with Krafft due to their high reviews and years in business. The team was great with communication, addressing all my concerns and overall it was easy to work with both the in-office personnel and the field techs. Shane was especially helpful during the install and he went above and beyond to ensure I was happy. My HVAC was installed in June and so far I've had no issues so I am pleased with the workmanship. Due to COVID, the ongoing supply chain delays, and inflation, I knew I'd be overpaying for my new equipment. I'd received quotes in 2020, 2021, and early 2022 that were several thousand dollars cheaper. I live in a 832 sf row home with good insulation and due to both costs and mechanical logistics, it was prohibitive to get a super high efficiency system. I opted instead for a 80/20 furnace (American Standard Gold Series) and a 2-stage air conditioner (American Standard Silver Series). Still, the costs were well above what I expected and what I had been quoted just a year earlier. My system had died so I didn't really have a choice. DC provides rebates on the higher efficiency air conditioners. I wasn't sure if I qualified but I applied just in case. A DCSEU rep reached out to me after submitting my application, asking for proof of cost for the AC unit, the AHRI Certificate, proof of permit, and proof that Krafft also installed a smart thermostat. I had applied for two rebates: AC and Smart Thermostat. The receipt I was initially provided from Krafft did not itemize these things and only showed the total cost so I reached out to their customer service to get the documentation and received a response from Dan. He told me the price of the AC in the message, provided the AHRI Certificate, and said I did not qualify based on the efficiency, and that the DCSEU would be telling me this after reviewing the AHRI Certificate. I understood his concern, but things change and in a later communication with the DCSEU rep, they did not take issue with the AHRI rating. The only thing preventing the processing of my application was lack of proof in the form of an actual receipt for the equipment, acknowledgement that Krafft installed the thermostat, and proof they had the permitting to do so. I responded to the message from DCSEU and copied Krafft customer service. In the message I acknowledged that assuming DCSEU did not take issue with the AHRI Certificate rating, Krafft would be able to provide proof of the items requested. I also attached my energy report for my Ecobee Smart Thermostat as proof of usage. Krafft never responded. Having overpaid for the system in the first place, I would think they would do all they can to help customers receive any kind of rebate. Even for the thermostat, they would not provide proof of install. It was mind boggling, and as a result I have now missed out on possibly upwards of $325 in rebates. I found the unwillingness to provide transparent documentation unacceptable, and now I'm not sure I will utilize them to service my system going forward.

I have corrected the name of the person I corresponded with at Krafft to Dan. Emmett was my contact at DCSEU. Krafft installed a new Ecobee Lite 3 at the time they installed the HVAC. I purchased the thermostat from another supplier but that does not affect my rebate eligibility or change the fact that Krafft installed this equipment for me. I don't take issue with the higher cost per se, as that is what's happening in the marketplace. But since the cost was remarkably higher than usual one would think Krafft would make every effort to help customers get a tiny bit back.
