I called for emergency services no on responsed. I'm not going into detail but the they have done fantastic work up until now. I don't know why but I will leave details alone. But your emergency services need to have access to the system RUSH COMPANY.
I have used Rush for almost 20 years for complicated plumbing and basic electrical ( so far). The key to that longevity is that when things don't go perfectly, they make good... they fix it. 95% of the time things go perfectly. Jason ( PLUMBING manager ) was here today, fixing a difficult issue as he said he would. It's fixed. I will continue to use Rush.
I’m signed up with a home warranty company called Old republic - had them for almost a year and first time using their services. They contracted out Rush plumbing for my garbage disposal not working . Before I called in the service request I always try to trouble shoot - in this case I put my hand in the disposal to look if anything was lodged in it . I reset the disposal, and I turned off and then on the electrical current to the unit. Nothing seemed to work. They came out when I was not at home - my husband was , apparently removed a spoon and reset the unit then left. We were away for the weekend and didn’t use the kitchen or garbage disposal until Monday when we realized it wasn’t functioning / draining . I called my home warranty company who spoke with them and they stated it was another issue and needed to charge another service fee FOR THE SAME UNIT. I went to read their reviews and apparently they have a habit of not fixing the issue and requiring multiple visits with multiple fees to charge . Please use someone else . These reviews are on point. Extremely frustrating .
I have been a customer of Rush Companies for many years and have always had a positive experience with their workers. Jose was at my home July 8 to clear sink drains and he did a wonderful job. He was on time, explained the process. I will contact Rush again.
This was our first time using Rush Electric Company Inc. through our warranty company. We were very pleased with them. Rush sent there tech name Reggie to asset our problem. Reggie came to our home he was very pleasant and explained what he needed to do call our warranty company and got the approval. Came back and fix our broke sink faucet and our bath tub. We will refer Rush Electric Co. there tech Reggie is good man that will do a good job for you. Five star from us.
Excellent customer service and knowledge. Milton came and diagnosed a main breaker, he was super knowledgeable about this trade and the interaction was excellent. He took detailed notes and even explained what he was testing and used a lot of logic with his triage. Rush electric will be my new go-to for all electrical repairs. They are coming back with the right parts to do the repair correctly, and really looked out for the best interest of their customer.
Rush Companies inspected my water heater and determined that it was unsafe for use. Reggie was the technician and was knowledgeable, friendly, and timely. He shared with me his diagnosis and how it was determined. Reggie wrote up a detailed explanation to my home warranty company (First American Home Warranty), which resulted in approval for replacement and covered all but a few hundred dollars. During the install, Reggie was again on time and friendly. He and another technician completed the installation in under 1.5 hours and disposed on the tank. Reggie walked me through the error reporting mechanism on the tank and recommended the 5 year warranty through the water heater company. Rush Companies did a fantastic job and I strongly recommend them to anyone in the DC area.
I have had a service contract with Rush Companies on my heating and air conditioning units for almost 19 years. Over those years I did a lot of business with them. They installed both the central air conditioning and attic heat pump in my home. Did plumbing work for me on more than one occasion. I used to think they were a great company. However, the last time they did service on my air conditioning unit shortly afterwards it failed. They sent a service technician out who said a wire wasn't connected properly. The unit worked for about a week and failed again. The second time the technician said a wire was making improper contact. The unit failed again about a week later.
The first technician explicitly stated, in writing on the service receipt, the problem was caused by the previous maintenance. When asked both technicians said I owed nothing.
After the second failure I did a little research online and decided to look at the unit myself. It turned out there was an electrical connector that was loose. Once I tightened up the connector the problem went away.
After that I got a bill from Rush for the second service call. I called them and asked to talk to someone. I was told someone would call but no one did. About a month later I got another invoice. I sent them a letter explaining the situation and asked for someone to contact me. No one did. Today I received another invoice from them. This time with a service charge.
I am cancelling my service contract with Rush Companies and will no longer do business with them. I can't recommend them. I think they have some good technicians but their customer service is terrible.
I was referred to Rush Companies by my trusted HVAC company. I was skeptical, however, after reading the flurry of bad reviews but went ahead and scheduled the service. And I was pleasantly surprised - so much so that I felt obligated to write a positive review in order to help the overall rating.
I scheduled them to diagnose two malfunctioning kitchen light fixtures. The technician showed up on time and was professional. He provided a diagnosis of the problem and was able to fix one of the fixtures that day, but had to order the part for the other which required a 2nd visit. The price paid for the 1st visit was about what I expected - 2 hours of charged labor and cost of the part. They called 2 business days later saying they had the part and could come out the following day to fix the other light fixture. Again, the technician (different technician) arrived on time and was professional. Unfortunately, the part was not successful in getting the fixture to work and this technician further diagnosed that the only option left is to replace the fixture. When I asked, "Ok, then how much do I owe you for today?" He replied with, "Nothing. We weren't able to resolve the issue so there's no additional charge. We'll probably just return the part back from where we ordered it. If you decided to replace the fixture, and we can come out to install for you." I was a bit surprised that the time spent (a little over an hour) was not charged, but happy nonetheless.
Very pleased with my service! Had a leak coming from shower valve and everything was replaced quickly. Reggie was professional and knowledgeable of his job and took the effort to fix an unrelated issue in the bathroom. Highly recommend Reggie for any plumbing services!

I'd probably hire this company again.
