    I've had 2 great experiences with My Buddy the Plumber. They installed a new water heater for me 2 years ago on the same day I called them. And today Holland came out and diagnosed and figured out that I had a clogged drain hose that kept my condenser pump running constantly. He unclogged the hose and tuned up my furnace in about an hour. Holland was on time, professional and very friendly. He took the time to explain to me what he was doing as well as offering my a yearly contract so I can keep up on my AC tune up and next years furnace tune up. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend My Buddy to anyone I know!

    Very professional- although we had several visits from different people they all had knowledge of what was going on and took very good care of us. Install was super quick, and they went through care instructions with us afterwards. Highly recommend. Will continue to use their services as needed.

    Preston C was amazing! Very thorough, professional, Extremely pleasant. He went over everything he did and he showed me how to replace my filter. Best part my dog never goes to anyone and she could tell what a great person he is and she just loved him.

    I would highly recommend them to do anything that requires their service.

    Please be careful with using My Buddy for Air Conditioning Maintenance. The technician (Holland) they sent for routine maintenance arrived with my AC unit working, then ended up breaking wires in our unit, then re-wired the system incorrectly, then asserted that the air fan was now broken, and then left us with a broken AC unit, as a new motor would not be available for one week! I was very upset, and I called a different company to inspect my AC unit. That new, very competent, technician wrote the below.

    "I found the air conditioner inoperable. Customer advised he has been in the heat for several days because the last tech left his equipment inoperable and left. The owner had some concerns the system had been damaged by a previous company. The owner advised the equipment was running when the previous company arrived and not when they left. I found several screws littered across the walkway. These screws were not replaced into the refrigerant panel and the side of the air conditioner. The capacitor was the wrong size, and the capacitor was not wired correctly. The refrigerant ports did not have caps. I found oil present and the liquid line schrader port leaking."

    The new technician from the other company fixed the many problems created by Holland from My Buddy. I will be calling My Buddy today to explain the situation, including presenting them with the bill for repairing my AC unit by the other company, given the damage that My Buddy caused to my unit.

    UPDATE: The manager Vance was supposed to come out to meet with me on August 15th but did not show up. I still cannot explain why the liquid line schrader port was left leaking by Holland, thus evaporating the refrigerant.

    UPDATE #2: after posting this review, I got a call to have Vance come out, and he showed up this time. We had a good discussion about what happened, and I ended up settling with MyBuddy covering half the cost of the repair. Although the AC unit was working with no problems prior to Holland from MyBuddy touching it, the unit is 16 years old, so I acknowledge that the unit might have been developing problems, despite being given a clear bill of health one year ago during maintenance also by MyBuddy. So, My Buddy did come out and make reparations for what happened, as the fan motor broke again a few days after the first repair by the other company and then had to be replaced, along with the other things already described. Given this, I changed my star rating from a one to three stars. We have used MyBuddy for plumbing needs in the past, with excellent, albeit very expensive, service. Given that I am not an expert in plumbing or HVAC, it is very difficult to judge whether what we paid for the plumbing repairs was over-priced or not, so I recommend getting second opinions anyway on any work needing to be performed.

    My Buddy went above and beyond to help us. They were professional and kind while discussing what was going on and different options moving forward. They also didn’t try to upsell me on anything. I would highly recommend them to anyone local needing help with plumbing issues!

    Our furnace stopped working in the evening and I called around a couple of places, but they said they didn't have anyone available and we were worried about the pipes freezing since it's happened before. We finally call My Buddy the Plumber and Preston C drove in some fairly bad snowy weather and was able to fix the furnace. Preston C arrived quickly, was very friendly, and was able to determine what was wrong and thankfully had a new replacement for the part that was broken. We're very happy with the service.

    My Buddy has been a lifesaver on our house projects that were slight emergencies. Damon has been so great at helping us navigate the process + understand our unique issues. O'Ryan and Ryan were so great at being respectful of our home / situation as well as worked hard and thoroughly to get the project completed. We are now working with Shawn on the HVAC side and he has been so great with helping us through our options. We are so grateful for the My Buddy team!!
