My Buddy the Plumber, Electric, Heating & Air

Way over priced. They charged me $2231.87 for a hot water heater they bought from home depot for $719.00. It was a total of $3000 to get a new hot water heater and replace the old one.
They should have been wearing ski mask when I paid the bill.
Please whatever you do make sure you read EVERYTHING before you sign anything.
If taking advantage of people was a sport they would have gold medals for miles.

Furnace went out during a snowstorm and Preston was able to get us back and running. He was helpful and explained the process while he fixed our system.

Holland was kind, professional, and communicative. He walked me through his solution finding, gave us time to process the information and showed up when he said he would and now we have cold air!

The Malmstrom brothers, Eric and Kyle, did a great job. They replaced our water softener and our rusted floor drain in the basement. They fixed a corroded pipe in our kitchen and a fixture that wasn't up to code while they were at it. They know their stuff and they explain things clearly. They go above and beyond and are total winners.

I had a lot of electrical work finished today .
He installed two pendants in the kitchen a , larger pendant in the stairwell , moved one ceiling fan and installed it to another as well as installed a new one in the living room. He also added dimmers and changed the light switches today . Very professional and efficient. I would add more photos but I’m limited to three .
I definitely would recommend Dan at My Buddy .

Be Careful!!!

I used this company a few years ago for a project at my personal home. They did a good job so when I had a job come up for a client, (my usual plumber was 2 weeks out) I decided to give them a chance because they had availability the next day.

They showed up, looked at job and quoted me a price that seemed really high. When I asked why it was so high, the tech said that the price reflected what they charge every client for that type of work ($529). I asked for a break down of parts and labor so I could see how many hours they anticipated the job taking and what their hourly labor rate was. They would not give me that information per “company policy”! They were, however, willing to sell me an annual maintenance contract that would reduce their quote. As a property manager in the Park City area, I deal with many subcontractors and I have never had someone try this con with me! Needless to say, I sent them away.

I waited for my normal plumbing company. 45 minutes labor, $50 in parts plus their trip charge and I paid $267. Almost half of what My Buddy wanted to charge! I will never use them again.

We had a new high efficient Amana AC installed before summer started. It is so quiet- and we just got our equal pay bill and it is down $50 a MONTH on equal pay. We have kept our house cooler with the new AC and it still saved us money. This has been a great investment for our family!

I would highly recommend My Buddy the Plumber. After having an issue with my A/C unit My Buddy sent two different technicians to try and figure out what the problem was. The second technician Pete was extremely knowable and caring he was able to quickly pinpoint to problem. I ended up with a new A/C and Furnace. Shawn their salesman came out to explain my options and ended up staying 1 1/2hrs just talking. He was fantastic. Korey and Ismael came out to install my new furnace and A/C unit and did a great job. After the job was installed Pete there senior technician came out and preformed a quality control inspection. Enough said! They were all fantastic!

Technician (Taylor) quickly triaged and resolved the problem with my furnace. I particularly appreciated that he took the time to clearly explain and show me the issue which was causing the problem. Very professional and quite frankly refreshing to see a company with a primary focus of resolving the problem versus upselling.
