We had another service send out the technicians to try to resolve the problem. After a week they told us we would need to contact Lennox to send out a certified tech. I contacted Lennox and they recommended Manwill. When I called Manwill, I told them I wanted the best because we had already paid for 3 certified techs who could not resolve the issue. We were told the best tech was booked for the next two weeks. We used space heaters until E.J. arrived. After three visits and bringing Jeff, the owner, on site the issue was resolved. Ours is a high efficiency furnace that can be complicated but E.J. and Jeff figured it out when others walked away. I appreciate them doing the right thing at a fair price. To top it off Jeff called me the next morning to make sure everything was working properly. It means a lot to have integrity from the top down.

I originally gave Manwill only 1 Star and my original review is below. However, after leaving my review we were contacted by Brian Jackson. We appreciated his apology and explanation that there should not have been a trip charge where the technician said he did not work on our type of water heater and that he was going to address how technicians handled that situation in the future. They also refunded the $50 trip charge. I appreciate Manwill's acknowledgment and handling of this situation.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I called Manwill to service my water heater. Both the scheduler and the technician were incredibly nice, I was able to sneak in a same-day appointment, and the technician was on time. Unfortunately, despite telling the scheduler what brand of water heater I had (AO Smith), the technician who showed up said he was unfamiliar with my brand of water heater and that he had no idea how to work on it. I explained to the technician what I had done to troubleshoot the issue and I also provided the technician with the step by step instructions that the manufacturer had given me for my particular error code. The technician never even looked at those instructions, instead he spent about five minutes disconnecting things in the wrong side of the water heater before announcing that he did not know how to proceed with this type of water heater and that he was giving up. I was then charged $50 for him to just come out and look at the water heater which he had no idea how to fix and for which he did nothing meaningful to even try to fix. Incredibly frustrating experience.

We had a leaky shower. They repaired the leak with a new faucet. I didn’t want the usual (what I call the “hotel style”) faucet, so they had to special order the part. When they came to do the job they were quick, efficient, professional and cleaned up after themselves! They did what they were asked to do without trying to sell me other products! Definitely would use them again and highly recommend them!

Manwill has been responsive and helpful for the many years I've been using them. Most recent experience - our 20 year old AC compressor died at the start of our 7 day heat wave in September 2022. Manwill came out immediately the next morning and diagnosed it. Paul reviewed several options to replace our aged system, including our vintage 1987 furnace. The bid was priced fairly and they had the equipment in stock. The team was able to arrive 2 days later and begin installing the new systems. Ricky and Ty did a great job of the install. It is much cleaner and nicer looking than the previous systems. Ricky explained the features of the new system very clearly and answered all my questions to satisfaction. Additionally, Ty and Ricky put up with my covid paranoia and wore masks the whole time they were working on my system. Super pleased with the service - as always. Thanks Manwill team!
