Koala Cooling & Plumbing

The Koala Team was called on the last Saturday late afternoon when our AC quit blowing. After reaching out to several other AC Repair Companies in the Austin Area with only the ability to leave a message, to our surprise Koala's on-call team answer and offered help. Koala's AC Technician arrive early Sunday afternoon. The Tech was knowledgeable and extremely personable as he walked us through the tests and numbers on our AC System. Problem was diagnosed (x2 Capacitors were bad) and he was able to get the 14yr old AC back up and running. He then checked the system and ran full diagnostics to confirm the rest of the system was in good working order.

After back up and running we then found that our 14yr. old blower motor getting the proper voltage of the New Capacitor just installed, weakened and then died (2hrs after the repair- "No Fault of Koala"). I called the tech (fyi: whom had 3 additional appointments after our call) immediately replied and said he would be back but later. He kept his word, and at 8:20pm on a Sunday Night came to our home and determined it was the Blower Motor. To our misfortune our motor was an uncommon design and he did not have the blower motor on his Truck.

The Koala Team then arrived the next day (Anthony the Technician) and put in the New Blower and got us back up and running. The Koala Team went way above and beyond by even coming back later that evening as the house was taking so long to cool down (Please know it was 103 outside Monday 6.20) but went through the Freon checks and reconfirmed the system was in good working order.

I am in the Service Industry (Automotive & Computer for 37+ yrs) and this company cares for the customer. At any of these above instances they could have said we will be back tomorrow "I'm off the clock and want to go home", but didn't and cared enough to take care of my family as best as they could in each scenario.

Michael Corey was just amazing and he was very caring and very honest. We would have Michael take care of our heating and cooling issues any time. He was very generous with his time and overall and very very empathetic as my wife is fighting acute bronchitis and he was very very supportive and empathetic. This world needs more people like Michael Corey, seriously!

Anthony came to check our furnace and AC unit. He was exactly on time and very professional. He explained everything clearly and helped me make room to go into the attic. I’m so glad we signed up for Koala’s maintenance plan!

Michael at Koala Kooling was wonderful and professional. My a/c quit working Saturday evening so I called koala they sent a tech out Sunday, Robert fixed my a/c and made sure everything else was working the way it should before he left. He said he treats everyone's home like it's his moms, which I greatly appreciated. Definitely recommend!

I just wanted to say that the people at Koala Cooling are the best. I called at the last possible minute about my air conditioner going out. Even though they were very busy, they were able to get someone out to me the same day. I have had a couple of dealings with Michael Corey and he is so sweet and gives so much explanation on what is going on. He is not push and gave me all of my options. Because they have been helping us with our heating and air for awhile, I knew the option to replace the system would be the best at this point. Again, no pushing or pressure. Michael Corey got my running and cool again and helped me set up for the new system. This company is fast, honest, and has great technicians.

Michael from KoalaCooling was great! He needed a capacitor replaced, and he explained and detailed everything so well. He was professional and courteous and was willing to answer all of my questions and concerns.

I contacted Koala Cooling because I needed new attic insulation and I wasn’t sure if they did that kind of work. Turns out they do! Kale came by and showed me their pricing chart and explained how much people normally add to their attic. I ended up getting the spray insulation done and except for a few spots originally missed, which got corrected a few days later, it was relatively a painless process. I do advise doing that in the winter though as they have to remove any old insulation you already have and your home will get a bit toasty. Highly professional and definitely recommend.

I very rarely recommend anyone for their job done but Koala Cooling is an exception. Beginning with their Comfort Advisor Kale Snider who, not only was he courteous but gave us a very reasonable prize compared to 4 other companies I contacted. He also followed up thru the installation of the unit. Similarly, their Technician Lalijan and his assistants did a very nice job in installing and starting the unit up. They were polite, courteous and very effecient and cleaned up after their work was done. I won't hesitate to recommend Koala Cooling Services for a similar jof to anyone needing their services.
