Koala Cooling & Plumbing

A friend mentioned Koala Cooling being a great company for their HVAC needs, so I've had them in the back of my mind for a bit based off word of mouth.

After one too many visits from others misconfiguring our unit after a new system installation, not solving our problems, creating new ones and giving us the run around, I decided to try and see if Koala Cooling could help me out. I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment for the next day.

Less than an hour later, Martin the service manager called me back to see if he could better understand what exactly our problem was with the moisture. He spent nearly an hour on the phone with me, asking about the age of our house, the history of our currently installed system, walking me through how to diagnose the issue on the phone with him (if I was mechanically inclined and comfortable doing so), teaching me about what was happening and why, and ultimately putting our household in a much better spot than we were before I called. I had no expectation that someone would freely spend this much time with me to help get us out of our predicament. It's easily the best initial experience I've had with any contractor or service company I've reached out to for my various home owning needs.

They'll be coming out tomorrow to double check a few more things at my insistence, and I'm much more hopeful now that the issues with our system will be totally fixed.

Bought a brand new Lennox system from Martin. He is VERY knowledgeable & answered ALL my questions. Ask for Martin if you want exceptional customer service.

Michael is amazing! My first experience with him and Koala Cooling was in the freeze of 2021. He came out to help us when the roads were frozen and made sure our heating systems were up and running. I called for his service again when my AC zoning wasn't working and my AC was running weaker than usual. Mind you, this was after I had two separate technicians come out and 'fix' the problem (they didn't). He was more thorough than any other contractor: actually going into the attic, explaining how my cooling system was set up, what had been causing the problem, and took pictures to walk me through everything. He fixed the issue, got me set up with preventatives, and my AC is in perfect shape for the summer!

Michael was awesome! Incredibly professional and he was very thorough in his explanation of what he found.

They installed a whole house filter for us. When we changed the filter a few months later the entire system wouldn’t turn back on again. It was July, 100°, and Saturday, but when I called they connected me to Martin who then, over the phone, walked me through the hat probably went wrong (blown fuse) and how to change that out. We were up and running within 20 minutes of calling Koala Cooling! I will not go anywhere else for our ac needs!! Top notch service!

I was having operator error issues with my thermostat. Koala Cooling called me & walked me through my issues so I could have heat in my home for my family. Martin went above & beyond to help me & answer all my questions. I'm now a customer for life

I am having trouble with regulation of my air conditioning, Compressor comes on in afternoon to night but cannot get it to trigger in the morning hours, I talked with Martin who is Service Manager on this; he was very patient and walked me thru how to check if the thermostat is wired or on battery. He was very helpful in helping me find that it is battery operated; the screen is on and off when batteries were removed, It was a Friday, June 17 so would like to give a BIG Thanks to Martin.

I will need to schedule a repair or replacement of thermostat; I think that is where the problem exists, I will be using this company.

Koala did a great job. This was one of the most thorough inspections I've ever had.

Koala Cooling performs regular system check on my HVAC system prior to the summer and winter seasons. Their technicians are always competent, professional and communicate services performed and/or recommendations. The scheduling process is simple and the show up when they say they will. I will continue using them to perform seasonal system checks as well as repairs when needed (as I have used them in the past).
