We had a new HVAC unit installed. Tony is great! Honest and straight forward when telling you what you need. Unlike others who might try to sell you unnecessary items, Tony tells you what you need based on the size of your house and how you normally use the unit. He backs up everything with explanations and takes time to answer all of your questions. Install was done in a timely manner and seemed quite thorough. Definitely recommend to others in the area!

Josh Fry and his team did an excellent job of finishing up a project for us. Josh brings an attitude to his work that is much appreciated and sometimes hard to find in the service industry. Friendly, time-conscious, detail-oriented, and aware of how the work will impact our lives, Josh went the extra mile. I will also add that Mason was equally effective in handling some communication snafus that had occurred at the office end of our project and got everything rolling again. Thanks to both of them!

Mason on the phone was an exceptionally well spoken customer service representative and really made us feel like a priority. John out in the field was quite polite and knocked out a blower motor replacement like a champ. Would recommend this company!

Great experience with Southern Comfort so far. They do send English-speaking professional techs, who are punctual and they don't try to upsell unnecessary products and services to you.
This comment is for their most recent visit, which was for the installation of a drain pan and a float switch. Joshua et al showed up on time, finished the installation + QC expeditiously and we're gone in no time. Such a pleasant experience!

Our air conditioner quit working, so we called a few different "reputable" companies to get repair or replacement estimates. They all spent zero time trying to fix the unit and all their time writing up eye-popping estimates for a new one. That's when we called Southern Comfort. Tony stopped by, gave us a rough yet reasonable estimate on the spot for a new unit but then said "hey, we may be able to fix this". The very next day, Ivan the technician had identified the issue. While it wasn't an inexpensive fix, it was literally thousands less than what we feared (with a new unit). Our house is now cool again.

Not sure when we'll buy a new unit but I know who we'll be buying it from without comparison. Southern Comfort is a first-class company because it has first-class employees who are customer-focused. Can't say enough good things about the entire experience.

No one wants to spend money on home repairs, but if you have to, Southern Comfort Mechanical makes it about as pleasant and stress free as possible. They are fair, honest, and reliable. Ivan even educated us on how the positioning of our vents was preventing the house to be cooled as efficiently as it could be. Update: I would like to thank Mason from SC for calling me back and clearing the air with my previous experience. I still feel Mason or another technician should have spoken to me initially, because he explained exactly what I called for in the first place. He was professional and knowledgeable about the product. Though I have chosen to use another product and company, I would feel comfortable calling SC in the future should they have a service I need. Lastly, I would like to thank Jenifer for trying her best to help me originally, she was very nice.

Tony arrived on time and was honest, knowledgeable and able to present several options to solve my problems. He saved me thousands vs. two competitors that did not adequately solve my issue. Southern Mechanical has earned another customer. Thanks Tony.

John was a rock star! Our house was at 88 degrees and he was able to diagnose and fix the problem very quickly. Everyone was friendly and professional. We greatly appreciate their ability to come out same day and get everything working before a long holiday weekend.
