I have been without air conditioning for a week and a half now. Thought it was the coolant, not it, thermostat, nope. Turns out it was the fan motor module. Can you replace the module, no, had to get the entire fan motor. Of course the warranty ran out in September 2020, my luck. But I want to tell you of my heroes, Southern Comfort Mechanical... They are the best. While trying to figure out what was going on they brought me 2 window units because I have chinchillas and they cannot survive over temps of 75 degrees. Although the window units did help, it still got hot in my house but he chins were fine. Finally today, the part came in and hopefully all is fixed. Thank you so much SCM for everything. If you need HVAC repair done please call them. You won't regret it

The service tech were quick and discreet in how they handled everything. They were very friendly and professional, and the office manager was very adept at handling all of my questions and concerns. Go Sara!

Had a seasonal check / service performed on an existing Heat Pump system. Service Tech Brandon arrived on time and was courteous and professional in his evaluation. He took the time to explain the operational aspects of the unit as well as giving advice on how to maintain the system at peak efficiency.

We fell for their discount first customer service, and then fell for their sales pitch for their service contract. We paid hundreds and got nothing! We’ve called, texed and emailed all we have gotten for our money is excuses. I have even sent photos showing the issues. They don’t answer calls, claim to have phone and or phone messaging problems. After over a year, I finally talked with the “account manager “, she promised to send a technician out, never did, then promised a refund…still waiting, and still no response. Unprofessional is an understatement.

The service provided by Southern Comfort Mechanical was exceptional. The service technician John is knowledgeable and provided great information on my unit up keep and energy saving tips. I would definitely recommend you call this company for any heating and air conditioning needs.

bought a new to me home in late January - even with a "new" HVAC system - I've had issues.

Originally I called a larger Dr. of HVAC company - who did promptly come out on an Saturday, and fixed the initial problem.

After a secondary problem came about, I contacted my home warranty company. They referred me to Southern Comfort Mechanical. Mike was able to come out the same day, and diagnose my new problem. He also made me aware that the first problem could have been resolved for $350.00 less than what the Dr. charged me - with no new parts being purchased..... go figure.....

Honesty, integrity, and willing to stand behind their work - - - isn't that what everyone wants in a service provider? I do - -as a new resident of rockingham county - I'll be contacting Southern Comfort Mechanical for all my HVAC needs
